Nice! I was curious enough to watch it, and I'm glad I have.

I love the graphics, era and atmosphere...but this game has a 1997-ish AI behavior. Unless this guy is playing on the lowest difficulty possible, this game has 0 challenge, and you're pretty much super-human.

I can say with full confidence that the notion this game has zero challenge and that you're "super human" is a ridiculous claim and is nowhere near being true or even accurate.

So is it only considered realistic if a group of seven guys attack you all at once and you die when you can't overcome all of them? Or when you get shot twice and die? You have to realize if this game played "realistic" it would become enfuriating and no fun in a short amount of time.

I'm the type of guy that really doesn't care for "Internet Beef" but your statement is far from the truth.

On to other news I just had a battle with about 8 guards and as far as only fighting one at a time I can say that's not the case. I would be fighting one guard and would get blindsided by another. Don't remember that being the case before. Game is like a "Fine Wine. It's getting better with time.

I've spent more time exploring the land and hunting than I have doing the actual missions themselves. Had an "Oh ****" moment when I heard a Cougar come after me mainly because I wasn't expecting it at that time but it was pretty cool. And if you're someone who loved RDR, then you'll love this part of the game.

You folks tried the multiplayer? Now that you mentioned RDR, is there like a free roam multiplayer mode or is it all death match and stuff?

Well, I'm only saying it because of what I saw in that video (and others), and I sure hope that guy played on the lowest difficulty level. Then again, I've never played any of these games, so maybe that's more or less the type of what is expected.

There isn't a difficulty setting in the game. They let you do anything you want for the most part. You can die, but 1 or 2 shots from a gun won't kill you. First period guns didn't usually kill people right away. Most of the people died from the wound that the shot made later. Second everyone would be pissed off if they died all the time.

The difficulty comes into play if you want to get 100% sync on everything. Those tasks are hard and will keep you busy for a long time.

Pretty much. You'd think people would have a pretty good idea of what the AC series is about by now.

Hopefully this will show up tomorrow from Gamefly. Pretty iffy however thanks to Sandy.

It's just funny because protagonists not getting immediately destroyed by bullets is a staple in video games.

I'm still not sure on whether to pre-order this today so I can get my 20$ reward certificate at Best Buy. I really want NFS Most Wanted as well, and could price match the buy 2 get 1 free this week. Uh, decisions decisions.

If you're really concerned about saving money, the past releases of the series have dropped dramatically (well you can find deals) after a month or two (about 30 bucks).
