So I was thinking of getting into a Sim City game. I havent played one since the old Sim City in my Computer Lab that basically you laid huge sections of stuff down and Hurricanes and earthquakes would destroy everything multiple times.

What ones would you recommend? I have a older CPU.

The specs I know are:

4 GB DDR3 Memory
AMD Athlon II X2 processor P320
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250

1st: don't talk about pirate stuff on here, you won't last long.

2nd: yes its coming out on Mac, EA faq says spring 2013 and its not a port but a full native version

Check out Simtropolis.com for mods and buildings. Be warned though, this game can bring your computer to its knees...

It's been a while since I last played, but check the site Cusefan mentioned.

there is one I can remember, Network add-on mod. I imagine it'll be easy to find, it was always one of the most downloaded mods. but it's almost a must IMO.

You could probably look on www.twitch.tv for some archived broadcasts (some of which are likely to have commentary), but you'd have to get pretty lucky to find an actual live stream of it.

I just dug out my ancient disc copy of SC4 Deluxe to get back into the swing of things. Man, 2003 seems like an eternity ago.

Game is still fun, though.
