I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop and CDPR finally admits this game isn't real and was just a social experiment on how people deal with hype and delays lol.

I mean, there is no possible way this game can live up to the hype surrounding it at this point. Not to mention you're telling me it'll run on those glorified laptops in the base XO and PS4? Naahhhh lol.

I don't know if disappointed will be the right word to use, but a ton of people are placing this game on a pedestal before it is even out. I'm sure that will lead to a good chunk of people setting their expectations at unrealistic levels and thsu hurting their own enjoyment.

I'm looking forward to the game, but I hardly have much "hype" around it personally. I expect a good game with some depth, but I don't expect the game to be revolutionary and a new gold standard. Maybe it will be that, but as long as I go in an expect a fun and good game with some depth, I am sure the game will meet those expectations and I will be happy.

That's the best route to take honestly. I have never been a huge RPG guy so I didn't really have too much hype for it (at least not until lately).

I do believe The Witcher 3 is the reason people are placing it on such a high pedestal. If they take everything they did with that and deliver on all the promises that they've made with the NCW episodes and numerous previews, it could become an instant classic. I learnt my lesson on expectations with GTAV though.

It's not often that big, open-world, epic RPG's come out anymore, but when they do , man do I get hyped. I've scored early copies of Fallout 4, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and a few others at a rather hefty price. If, by chance, someone on here acquires a copy of this gem prior to Dec. 10, give me a holler. I'm willing to pay ridiculous prices that I won't discuss outside PMs.

I think it will be revolutionary, and the new gold standard for open world rpg games. We shall see.

I agree. There will be haters, though. But when it comes down to it, I'd say it will be one of the best games of all time.

I am really impressed with this game overall, but 2 things bothered me from the first time I saw gameplay videos:

                        1) Car physics looks like something out of the worst Ubisoft games. Really lacking in the physics department. Too bad because car design is amazing.
                        2) The gunplay looks so simplistic and like something from a game out of 2000. Just don't like it. Hopefully it feels better than it looks.

Hmm I didnt think gunplay looked that bad. That is probably my only big concern.

I'm expecting gun play like Fallout 4 serviceable but not as good as Call of Duty since this is a RPG and not a FPS.

I'm really thinking about sitting this one out until the next gen patch comes out next year. I am the type of plays through a game only once, so I want it to be the best version when I do. Plus I got a ton of back log to get through so I dont really need this game day one.

I would like to play this game on console for the trophies and for easy screenshots/archiving, but I can probably run it at 1440/60HZ with my PC.

I won't get good frames on PS4 Pro.. so it's a tough decision for me. I would be interested to see just how well the game runs on the PS4.
