I would like to play this game on console for the trophies and for easy screenshots/archiving, but I can probably run it at 1440/60HZ with my PC.

I won't get good frames on PS4 Pro.. so it's a tough decision for me. I would be interested to see just how well the game runs on the PS4.

Judging by that gameplay video the PS4 and XO versions will be barely holding onto that 30fps until you drive too fast in the city or anything remotely hectic happens on screen and then it's gonna drop to the low 20s at best lol. The struggle is real for these old consoles and are one of the main reason the game has gotten delayed multiple times this year.

You don't screenshot your PC screen when playing? I definitely miss the dedicated photo modes for console games, though.

I might hold out until Christmas. Should be enough time to see how the bugs are and hopefully get any major ones ironed out.

The hype is unreal for this game right now!

Just one more week and I'll be playing it, it's been a long three years for me, for those who have been waiting the 7-8 I'm sure you're very excited!

Then again...

I've been using NVIDIA ShadowPlay, but I think it's more convenient using the buttons on the DS4 controller.

Oh yeah definitely. When I first started playing PC and using an Xbox controller - I kept hitting that left option button trying to take a screenshot.

I have this pre-order paid in full...and have for over a year...but the ebgames I did it at is under lockdown so I'll have to wait until whenever that stops to grab it.

As a preorder bonus, BB is doing a steelbook... Curious to know if this is an all-out separate cover or instead of Cyberpunk box we get this steelbook box instead with the game in it?

Separate steelbook with the game in the PS4 and Xbox One boxes.

I remember the first hype video like 8 years ago, involved a women and a sloMo bullet time thingy. I cant wait. bought a Auctioned RTX 3080 just for this game basically.

I'm expecting gun play like Fallout 4 serviceable but not as good as Call of Duty since this is a RPG and not a FPS.

Yes, I do understand it's a RPG. But for a game that had been in development for close to a decade, with huge budget and labeled as AAAAAA....it's a bit underwhelming, considering the level of polish and effort put into.

Either way, should be fun to play. Might wait until January before I get it.

I went and pre-ordered with Stadia which comes with the Stadia Premiere Edition.

It says on the Stadia website it's going to launch on Dec. 9 at 7 pm. That would be nice rather than Dec. 10 but I notice it didn't say the time zone for 7 pm so maybe that's a bit of trickery.

I have a PS4 Pro so I may regret ordering this with Stadia rather than on the PS4 Pro but I've been wanting to give it a shot. I've noticed games like Assassin's Creed Odyssey looks much better on a PC streaming through Nvidia rather than a PS4 Pro on my 4k TV.

I watched one of the IGN previews which indicated it plays much slower than the action oriented game clips that have been shown and you can go hours and hours without any gun battles if you wish. It's more like a traditional RPG than we might expect based on those clips which I'm glad to hear.

I probably haven't been this excited to jump on a release on Day One since Skyrim. That game certainly lived up to the hype. Hopefully, Cyberpunk can as well.

Edit: It turns out it is releasing on Stadia on Dec. 9 at 7 pm EST. Thinking of ideas right now to get the wife out of the house that night ...

I'm really thinking about sitting this one out until the next gen patch comes out next year. I am the type of plays through a game only once, so I want it to be the best version when I do. Plus I got a ton of back log to get through so I dont really need this game day one.

I’m in the same boat in terms of possibly sitting this out til next gen. Do we have a concrete date yet for it or is it just “next year?”
