Re: Watch Dogs
I've been leaving gifts for you guys who hack hot spots. Not much as I'm still early on though.
Just played the first infiltration esque mission. Once I did it (unnoticed) I immediately said "damn, I could have done this and not even stepped foot in"
I really enjoy the skill wheel. You can build your own Aiden according to your play style.
I'm on PS4. eF-5ive. Invite if you want5Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
Just wanted to say the more I play and get the skill tree figured out.. the game is a blast. Took a bit to get the idea of the crafting etc.. But I'm getting there. So far I can make frag grenades, jammers and distractions.
Like 23 I wish you could replay missions so you can try different things.
Been wanting a game that was outside the norm/different/fun and this is it.
ALSO.. I have to watch myself as sometimes I jump right in on things instead of surveying the situation. The quick/easy things may not be the best course of action.
So I've learned to take time and hack cameras to see the whole scope.Last edited by Skyboxer; 05-27-2014, 01:39 PM.Joshua:

I saw someone else go inside stealth then leave without most of them knowing they were even there... being able to take different courses of action, I love that kind of stuff.Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
SpoilerI dropped the crate on the two guys, used the two explosives I seen. Used car alarms to attract. Ran in when they all went down stairs. Hacked with not knowing wtf I was doing and then snuck out.
I think if I would have used the cameras, and then distracted the guard with the camera phone, I could have hacked the terminal that way. Not sure. Really hope I have a way to replay eventually.5Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
I am really trying to go full on stealth but I do like tthe booms aa lot
If you are still on the fence about this game.. jump the F off and grab it.
So much strategy involved that can easily be missed.
Scoping out all enemies: Whoi can call in re-enforcements.. Take them out first etc..
These types of games need to succeed to counter all the cookie cuttter FPS etc..Last edited by Skyboxer; 05-27-2014, 02:04 PM.Joshua:

Re: Watch Dogs
Yeah, I love the stealth approach on the missions where it's applicable. Once you know how to jump between the cameras you don't even have to get anywhere the enemies (at least in the the first mission like that, and I was able to use it to some degree in the 2nd one too). Snake would be jealous.Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
Lmfao. Just about to get off, I fast travel to a hideout. Invaded.
It's the hideout that's in the middle of nowhere. Only one lady strolling through this deserted area. Jump in my car and run her over then give her two to the chest.
Hacking will not be tolerated. The revolution will not be televised.5Comment

I don't even mean a "direct" replay option either. I'm wondering if you can just at least manually save before missions using a separate save slot. Is that possible?Comment

Pretty sure it was my first one, anyway. I think I've had about 6 full tailing successes so far.
And I got pretty lucky on this one to be honest. I was way too conspicuous in the car and should have been profiled then. I've had cleaner ones.
I also had a couple of hacking attempts around that one lone building on a hillside that ef was mentioning. If you can profile them without being seen, then run off and start the actual hack a short distance away, you have a much better chance of being successful.Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
How hard is it to control the gadgets and/or abilities at your disposal?
I've been very open about what a dismal gamer I am. I don't have a lot of time to game during the week so I wonder if the learning curve may be too advanced for the little I play.
Thanks!Comment
