I wanted this game bad when first announced but as the release has come I'm kind of on the fence. If anyone can answer one question for me does the YouTube and videos from other sites don't do it justice visually or it's it just ok looking?

Re: Watch Dogs
They did a pretty good job with Chicago. I've never lived there so I can't nitpick, but there are lots of places that I legitimately recognize.
The game is pretty awesome so far, I havent done any story missions other than the intro in the first couple hours because I keep getting distracted by how much else there is to do. Probably the best looking game I have played on PS4 thus far too. Everything I was hoping for.Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
For those asking for x360 impressions (the few) I hope to post some in a couple of hours. Anyone posting impressions would you mind letting us know what system you are playing on since it's on so many platforms??EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
Guys, if you're on the fence about this game get it.
If you could imagine how powerful having the world at your fingertips would be, this game gives that vibe. Whether you're stealing money from an occupational therapist making 71k a year, or just randomly trigger traffic lights because you enjoy destruction.
I thought id hate the mp just from what I heard about it, but it's so smooth. The world the SP sets you in, and how it sets up MP is great. I've only been invaded a few times but it's a nice change of pace.
Invading others is great too. It's some real spy vs spy stuff.
I honestly have no complaints so far. Actually one. The preorder and other gun, I don't like how you actually have to buy it. It's not much of a reward. Idk maybe because I was expecting to be able to equip it ASAP instead of spending 15k.5Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
How many 360 guys have it? I'm on the fence too. Was sold n the beginning but the delays and the fact that I still enjoy GTAV has pushed me towards waiting for the price to fall or for solid reviews from folks I trust.
What is there to do in the online part beside hacking other people, is there any sort of co-op?Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
I wouldn't trust the PS4 ShareFactory or the XBox One's Upload Studio video quality, most of the videos I seen made from there have inferior quality to how the game actually looks. Most of the amateur videos you'll see on youtube will come from these 2 sources.Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
I was successful on my first hack!!I was hiding in a corner where a wall kinda covers me from the front. if he walked in the opposite direction he would have found me. at 75 percent I chose new hiding spot behind forklift and good thing bc he finally went the opposite way. At around 85 percent i blew up one of the gaskets and he freaked lol was running all over the place looking for me.
Other news. Just finished Act 1 and i am really enjoying so far. One of my first open world games like this for PC and that really exciting in it's self!Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
Not gonna lie, sort of had mixed feelings before picking this up. But really enjoying this so far. I'm one of those people who gets bored quickly with games other than sports games. And when I say quickly, I'm talking about putting GTA, Battlefield, etc down after an hour on release day to play Madden or 2k haha.
But so far, this game has kept me hooked. There's something about it that sets it apart from the other sandbox games that makes it really appeal to me. Maybe it's being able to manipulate the environment remotely. Or maybe being a "vigilante." Or maybe it's the fact that the pedestrians seem to have a little bit more life to them than all the other games. Those little tidbits of info on them make them seem like they're more than just a dummy to beat down and rob or a speed bump to my car. I now get mad every time I unintentionally hurt someone.
The pedestrians are definitely much more intriguing than other games. I walked up on a couple of guys battle rapping on the streets. I saw a woman trying to hide behind a bus stop because she was sick, and then she threw up and said "Nobody saw that. Nope, nobody saw me do that."[NYK|DAL|VT]
