Most PC servers have traditionally blocked the AWP completely or just restricted it to 1 or 2 users per side. I can't play the game any other way because otherwise it just turns into an AWP-fest where you die from people shooting your feet or hands.

The Scout is a one-hit kill with a headshot, anyway. So the game plays fine with just the Scout as the only sniper rifle.

I don't know if the console versions let you run a game with weapon restrictions or not. Someone who has those versions will have to chime in.

I don't understand why though. Why should it be nearly a one-hit kill every time?

To my knowledge, the AWP has been the same since the beginning. If they changed it, the whole internet would be in an uproar about it.

I don't like it either, but like others have said, I try to find servers that either disable it or limit it to one or two people max.

I downloaded the demo yesterday for Xbox 360 and I can not get it to work. It gets stuck on the loading screen when trying to enter a game. The one time I did get in a game, it was super laggy and disconnected me, and my entire 360 frozed! Now I cant even get into a game. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm going to uninstall it and reinstall it to see if it works.

I really want to buy this game since its so cheap and it looks like a really good online shooter, but if the demo dont work, then I cant trust the whole game.

Demo worked fine on 360 for me. Maybe reinstalling will fix it.

Yeah. I bought the game for 360 and it was unplayable due to the lag. Let's hope it gets fixed fast. As is it is a waste. Anyone who bought it for xbox 360 having same problem with the game?

I finally tried the 360 demo today and it's pretty much a terrible representation of this game. Bad graphics, bad controls, super laggy netcode and empty maps due to the low player limit.

Definitely go with the PC version if at all possible.

Yeah with the lag on xbox360 this game is garbage. What a waste of $15. The developer should be ashamed of producing such garbage. Fix the lag ASAP.

Enjoying this on ps3...the difficulty and learning process is addictive. Makes me want and play to get better. Much more satisfying than recent games I've played. For 15, easy purchase for me.

I don't know what lag everyone is talking about on 360. I have it for 360 and have yet to be in a single match that was laggy at all.

PS3 I haven't had lag yet.

Having a lot of fun with this game. Unfortunately, I've had to give it a break being in the process of moving, but can't wait to get back at it when I get settled in.

Picked this up yesterday for the ps3.

I probably played source more than any other video game I have ever played, and I think they did a pretty good job of adapting it to consoles. The 10 player limit is a little bit of a bummer, and I can't understand why they would let keyboard/mouse guys play against those of us with controllers.. But aside from some small complaints, I really like the game on ps3 so far.

Btw, I've seen zero lag.
