Re: State of Decay (GTA meets Zombie Apocalypse - Xbox Exclusive)
Sometimes cutscenes take me out of the game. Two very different immersions with no real way to transition into one or the other effectively.

I don't think he played into the game far enough yet. I thought this was kind of cool....
I had been through maybe eight houses looking for supplies. I was looking for carpenters glue and went into a random house (looked similar to the others on the outside). On the inside it was obviously being renovated with no paint on the walls and some appliances missing.
Anyway long story short, I knew I would find the carpenter's glue in there based on the renovations. Just make sure you clear the houses out before looting. I had a zombie grab me from behind while I was filling the rucksack full of building materials and it scared the **** out of me.
Another side note: Jumping out of windows while making a getaway is too much fun.YNWAComment

I brought her back to base safely to heal.
Unfortunately, after a while, I was notified that she did not "recover" from her "internal injuries" and so she asked me toSpoilertake her out into a field and shoot her.Last edited by jyoung; 06-06-2013, 01:34 PM.Comment

Also, apparently there's a glitch in this game where all infestations in the entire map count against your home base's morale when it's only supposed to be the local area around your base.
I am having survivors go missing like crazy because of this glitch. Very frusturating.Comment

That's awesome and a bummer at a the same time.
I've already got the Oregon Trail party vibe from this game and I love it.
Looks like its gonna be raining all day so no grilling. Guess I'll pick up dinner, pick on the new Queens of the Stone Age and really dive into this mofo.

Moving from the Church has helped me tremendously.
I like McReady farmhouse out in the middle of the map for its huge space and remote location.
But supply runs are tough to do from there since you're in the middle of nowhere.Comment

I've come across a bunch of them. Pretty much every site that would actually be cool to live in -- they made it a possibility to live there.
