I believe I read a while back that DA III would have a mixture of DA 2's fast-pace combat and Origin's strategy. Count me in if it's true. At this time, I don't see any reason they should return to the stand and swing style of combat that old RPGs/JRPG's use, but I think you can still have something similar.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition
I know it has been asked before, but how does a game that's on both generation of consoles work exactly? It doesn't seem like you could utilize all of the newer consoles power if you were going to do that, but what do I know?
I'm just afraid that, especially in games like DA, the fact that it's being made for older consoles as well might limit its potential.Writer for Operation Sports

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition
I'm wondering the same thing. I would expect with games made for both gens (2k being my main worry) is that one of them will get the short end of the stick.Gamertag and PSN Mrclutch1013

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition
Developers generally will develop them for the coming consoles. These are likely being built using high end PCs so they will be optimized for the PS4/One.
They'll get ported down to the current gen consoles, sometimes by another publisher. Respawn has said they are developing the One/PC version of Titanfall while its being ported to 360 by another company.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

Hi-res screens:
Can enlarge them in the link.
I just thought about something regarding this game and it brought me down a bit. I forgot EA has Bioware now and the pC version is likely going to be exclusive to Origin.
PS: You guys are great.

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition
The game definitely looks gorgeous. I just hope that the heart found in DAO is brought back to Inquisition. It was the heart of the game that makes it one of the best I've ever played.Comment

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition
The MMO esque gameplay has been the bane of my even getting through DA2. I hope things get tighter to match the visuals.
This also really amps me up for the next Mass Effect game. I dream of a The Last of Us style gameplay with typical Mass Effect style characterization.
Only instead of lobbing Molotov cocktails you're lobbing tech attacks.
And I guess the DragonAge equivalent would be lobbing blood magic.Comment

Game Informer September Cover Revealed – Dragon Age: Inquisition
The third installment of the Dragon Age franchise casts players as the head of the Inquisition, a recently resurrected organization charged with rooting out corruption and evil in the land of Thedas. As the game begins, the Inquisition has plenty to investigate. War, scheming, and political strife have left the major power groups in the Dragon Age universe unable to operate effectively, which is a problem when a hole opens in the sky and demons begin pouring out. Players must fight back against the demonic threat while exploring a vast world and consolidating power for the growing Inquisition. Large and varied environments, customizable armor, and the return of multiple player races are just a few of the ways BioWare is addressing feedback from previous titles in order to shape a new future for the franchise.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. The E3 trailer provided more questions than answers for fans, and we have a whole month of exclusive features lined up covering everything from combat to character creation. To see what's in store, watch the coverage trailer below.
