After a few weeks of no Mass Effect having completed the trilogy, I have to say ... I don't have the itch to replay 3. It was immediate with 2, so much so that I took painstaking effort to platinum the game. And, I hate to say it, but I kind of blame the ending.

      Spoiler

I promised myself the ending wouldn't ruin the game for me, and it didn't. But it also hurts the replay value, which I didn't prepare for.

Oh well ... time to catch up on all the other games that stacked up while I played the brilliant Mass Effect trilogy!

I finally got through it all and I don't see the problem that everybody has with the ending. I thought it was fine and was happy with what happened. Although, I did play the game with the extended cut. I wonder if that had any effect on my view.

I still need to buy this. Not sure if I'll get PS3 or 360 version but either way, I need to add this to my library.

Playing all 3 on both, I gotta say that the ps3 version is a little glitchier. ME1 has a somewhat rare Mako glitch, where your Mako gets frozen in place, and the game automatically kills you off (only happened 3 times through the whole game), and sometimes your squadmates get frozen, so you'll have to go on without them a little. I even had Wrex just disappear completely on one of the missions. He was gone, his picture was gone, everything, so I just had Tali with me for the duration of the mission. That only happened once though.

With ME2 the squadmates do still get frozen at times, but not as often as ME1. By far the MOST annoying issue I've seen throughout the series however, is that the end of lines get cut off about 75% of the time. I had to cut on subtitles to get all of the info. I don't mind having the subtitles, but having lines just cut off definitely does somewhat kill the immersion.

I'm still playing through ME3 on PS3, but I haven't seen any issues so far. I've read that ME3 had the same issues with the lines that 2 had, but I haven't experienced it whatsoever so far *quickly finds some wood to knock on*.

Didn't had any of these issues (except MAYBE the squadmates getting frozen one... can't remember) on the 360 version.

All that said, the PS3 version of the trilogy comes with DLC that you'd otherwise have to pay extra for, and those really add to the game imo. And ME1 is a little upgraded on the PS3 version, so it's a tradeoff. I wanted the dlc, and I knew I plan on getting rid of my xbox soon, so I went PS3. No matter which console you get it on, the ME series is spectacular, and it will be money WELL spent.

So I can't believe how good the Multiplayer is, I am totally cracking out on it. Quick question: is the DLC multiplayer any good? Think I'm going to download it tonight.

I have really enjoyed the multiplayer. I felt it never really never got the credit it deserves. Very fun co-op gameplay.

All the DLC is just new maps and characters. Only knock (fair I would say) is that their is only the one game mode. Whil eit is fun it would have been nice to have a few other modes.

Started my second playthrough last night. I'm still going with a male Shepard, but this time I'm trying a sentinel character. In this round, I'm going to make sure I save Wrex and I'm also going to let Kaiden live.

                      ME1 or the whole trilogy?

I'm starting the trilogy over again and I'm going to make sure I take more time in exploring.

When I read about people loving Wrex so much, I knew I needed to play through again. In my first playthrough, he didn't seem so special, so I didn't really care when he was shot. Now I have to see what the fuss is about.

Meh, Wrex...as long as you don't grab him before you deal with Tali.

Male!Shep gets a bad rep. Dude's "Big stupid jellyfish" read owns it. The other one's actually sounds...acted. Like she means it. Which is funny in an ironic sense, but the other is funny in a hilarious so bad it's awesome sense.
