Re: Mass Effect Trilogy releasing this November on 360/PS3/PC (including ME1 on PS3)
After a few weeks of no Mass Effect having completed the trilogy, I have to say ... I don't have the itch to replay 3. It was immediate with 2, so much so that I took painstaking effort to platinum the game. And, I hate to say it, but I kind of blame the ending.
SpoilerIt sucks because I was emotionally torn about how to deal with the genophage, and whether the quarians needed to forgive their ageless enemies. And I was freaking out how these decisions impacted the story given the hundreds of hours I spent on games prior. And then when I got to the ending, it just felt ... less consequential. Not as invested as the rest of the game.
I promised myself the ending wouldn't ruin the game for me, and it didn't. But it also hurts the replay value, which I didn't prepare for.
Oh well ... time to catch up on all the other games that stacked up while I played the brilliant Mass Effect trilogy!Comment

I finally got through it all and I don't see the problem that everybody has with the ending. I thought it was fine and was happy with what happened. Although, I did play the game with the extended cut. I wonder if that had any effect on my view.Comment

Re: Mass Effect Trilogy releasing this November on 360/PS3/PC (including ME1 on PS3)
With ME2 the squadmates do still get frozen at times, but not as often as ME1. By far the MOST annoying issue I've seen throughout the series however, is that the end of lines get cut off about 75% of the time. I had to cut on subtitles to get all of the info. I don't mind having the subtitles, but having lines just cut off definitely does somewhat kill the immersion.
I'm still playing through ME3 on PS3, but I haven't seen any issues so far. I've read that ME3 had the same issues with the lines that 2 had, but I haven't experienced it whatsoever so far *quickly finds some wood to knock on*.
Didn't had any of these issues (except MAYBE the squadmates getting frozen one... can't remember) on the 360 version.
All that said, the PS3 version of the trilogy comes with DLC that you'd otherwise have to pay extra for, and those really add to the game imo. And ME1 is a little upgraded on the PS3 version, so it's a tradeoff. I wanted the dlc, and I knew I plan on getting rid of my xbox soon, so I went PS3. No matter which console you get it on, the ME series is spectacular, and it will be money WELL spent.Comment

Re: Mass Effect Trilogy releasing this November on 360/PS3/PC (including ME1 on PS3)
Whoa ... my brain is hurting.
SpoilerThe 3 choices felt jarbled ... as if none of them really felt like the consequences would be different, because Shep dies and you just knew he would be the sacrificial lamb as soon as he got injured and entered the Reaper infested Citadel.
SpoilerYou probably know this already, but in one of the endings if you fill the green bar past 3100 (with DLC), Shepard does not die. The last thing I saw before the credits rolled was an N7 dog tag and a deep breath. So that makes one of the endings way different than the others.
Some could also come to the conclusion that the Reaper AI kid was wrong when he said all synthetic live would be destroyed.

So I can't believe how good the Multiplayer is, I am totally cracking out on it. Quick question: is the DLC multiplayer any good? Think I'm going to download it tonight.

All the DLC is just new maps and characters. Only knock (fair I would say) is that their is only the one game mode. Whil eit is fun it would have been nice to have a few other modes.Gamertag and PSN Mrclutch1013

Started my second playthrough last night. I'm still going with a male Shepard, but this time I'm trying a sentinel character. In this round, I'm going to make sure I save Wrex and I'm also going to let Kaiden live.Comment

I'm starting the trilogy over again and I'm going to make sure I take more time in exploring.
When I read about people loving Wrex so much, I knew I needed to play through again. In my first playthrough, he didn't seem so special, so I didn't really care when he was shot. Now I have to see what the fuss is about.Comment

SpoilerThat way Fist lives, which gives some humor later on.
And then, if you kill Wrex, you get all sorts of fun:

Male!Shep gets a bad rep. Dude's "Big stupid jellyfish" read owns it. The other one's actually sounds...acted. Like she means it. Which is funny in an ironic sense, but the other is funny in a hilarious so bad it's awesome sense.Comment

I just started part 3 & the visuals are pretty cool.
SpoilerThe raging war all around you is crazy. I felt sad cause I let Thane die in the end of the second one. I missed the part which said I needed a tech to go into the ventilation & accidentally picked him..."In a year that has been so improbable, the impossible has happened." - Vin Scully
