Sounds likely. Though I'm sure it'll just be blanket factors. Virmire decision. Genophage decision. Who lived, who died. Romance options. Punched reporters. Which is fine. Unless you play as Shepard's kid or something, specifics wouldn't really matter.Comment

I'm looking forward to whatever they come up with, because i love the universe, so i am curious to see where they go with it. I'm hoping they continue on from ME3 with shep and the decisions made matter.Comment

Once your previous story covers galactic extinction as the main threat, no where to go but on a more personal level. Bring the story down a bit and make the threat more personal, perhaps with the grand setting of the Mass Effect universe.
Though the more I think about it, the more I suspect they might do a First Contact war prequel, or at least I'd like one, even if only backstory. Like a cold opening of sorts. Set up a main storyline that involves something from then turning up after Shepard saves the world, however s/he does it.Comment

If they go future, I wouldn't really want much of any connection to Shepard. Obviously their would have to be mentions and such, but a completely different person/storyline would be preferable.
I'm not a huge fan of prequels but one about the human race first starting to expand and such could be ok I guess.Comment

I'd like to see a Merc/Bounty Hunter main character, especially in a game set after ME3's main story. It could open up exploration and other unique places/characters.Comment

Personally I can see them doing a Yahg invasion. The little bit of codex info that the Shadow broker dlc added didn't give away much outside of the council banning travel to the Yahg homeworld because they were so dangerous.HELLO BROOKYLN.

Yeah something along those lines or maybe a glactic civil war involving the terminus systems and all non-council races tired of being told what to do by the council.NHL: Vegas Golden Knights

Is there a date on when the new one will be coming out? I'm interested to see where the head, be it a prequel or a one in the future. ME2 was one of my favorite games of this generation, and while I enjoyed ME3 (and the multiplayer was surprisingly good) it wasn't near as good as 2 was imo.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals
