A football game using the kinect as a head tracking unit. Then the game being played from a first person camera. Game would control exactly the same with a controller, instead of using the right stick for head movement like it has been done in the past. The kinect would track your real head movement in front the TV where you look left or right to control head movement. Exactly how flight sims operate now.

      1. Jurassic Park. I would like to see it done like Amensia where it's more about survival and less about shooting.

      2. Mutant league Football

          Re: Your Dream Game?

Like a lot of guys around here, I have been playing console video games since Atari 2600.

I have had my dreams come true with this generation of games. Really....it has not ever been better for me personally.

As far as fantasy, horror and adventure/shooter games as well as Turn Based games,

          Skyrim
          Mass Effect Series
          Dead Space 1 & 2
          XCOM Enemy Unknown
          Dragon Age Origins
          Borderlands 1 & 2

I love these games big time. Endless replay value (for the most part) IMO with those titles.

I still have not gotten to Demon Souls and Dark Souls (I own Demon Souls but have not commited to getting into it yet as I know it is a tough unforgiving game as well as Dark Souls). Those two titles from everything I have seen and read are amazing.

And as far as my first love and passion, Sports games:

          MLB The Show 11/12
          NBA 2K11

Those sports titles above IMO are truly the best of the best. I will never need another NBA title again.....seriously I am having that much fun still with 2K11. And as far as Baseball....it does not get any better than this.

So....I think my vision of games has been met coming from the Atari 2600/coin op generation. It's been met big time.

I should add though that I am still waiting for a truly amazing football game. 2K5 came close and Madden and NCAA have solid offerings.....but nothing in the league of 2K11 and The Show 11/12.

A Quantum Leap game. You as a character sent to different timelines to correct history. And you change as the character during each timeline jump.

A college football that really represents that atmosphere and pageantry of a Saturday. Complete with REAL cutscenes of other games during your game, Saturday morning previews and Saturday night highlight shows, fans rushing the field, etc. Completely editable. Loud crowds, loud bands, fan shots of college kids cheering, the whole bit.

All that along with incredible gameplay that plays to each team and players strengths/tendencies. Robust recruiting that's actually fun, as opposed to a chore I have to do every week. A spring game. Upgrades to your stadium and other facilities that helps with recruiting. Real coaching contracts that actually work where you can move up the chain (a boost towards your chances if it's your alma mater). Ability to hire assistant coaches with different skill sets to put the best game plan on the field (recruiting gurus vs. X's and O's coaches). Realistic penalty situations. Special teams that function, ie. kickoff, punt returns, and blocked kicks/punts. "Experience" ratings for players that affect performance on the field. Progression that's actually tied to playing time and performance.

I'd pay big bucks for a game like this.

I would like to see a Heavy Rain/LA Noire type game with a political storyline where you start off as a fresh faced kid running for local office and you rise up the ranks to become a presidential candidate....The crux of the storyline by that point would be that you know of a huge conspiracy that would cripple the United States forever and you're trying to stop it before it happens. You'd be trying to figure out clues etc etc while at the same time the "dark forces" will be out to kill you and/or make your life so miserable that it isn't worth it or try to bring you to their evil ways.

In essence, a political conspiracy story that involves sex, money, power and greed.

A game in which I'm a nazi that has to kill zombies. If that won't work I'll settle for a game in which I'm a zombie that has to kill zombies. Dinosaurs should be involved either way.

I would like to see a true survival horror. Atmosphere, gameplay, etc. Where there's a truly anything could happen type game. I guess Skyrim but with more horror elements and less bugs. I wanna feel true dread while playing. Much like the original RE made me feel all those years ago. Mostly I don't want to feel like a badass at any point and feel vulnerable.

For me I would take a Superman game of that quality. Superman was always my favorite hero as a kid. I was a Super Friends/Justice League junkie when I was growing up in the mid 70's. I used to play Superman on Atari 2600 all the time....remember that game? They have never made a really good Superman game. The last one "Superman Returns" was decent but really clunky.

IMO Spiderman 2 was a great game. But I hear ya on a AA/AC type of game for your favorite hero. AA and AC are amazing games.

I want a game where I have the ability to do almost anything (think GTA) but the repercussions would be enormous if I did so.

One thing missing in gaming for me is fear of messing up, or fear of not being able to just press reset If I ****ed something up royally. I dont know how it'd be done but if I see a person on the street and I decide to shoot that person the ENTIRE game shifts focus on this event and it weaves a web that has me trying to escape the repercussions of that seemingly minuscule decision. Hiding behind a building for 3 mins as the wanted level goes down isnt enough.

Where the people I meet can be worthless NPCs but on rare chance I can meet a guy who is excellent at cleaning up crime scenes, or flipping stolen cars; that person becomes an asset. And I dont mean this in a storyline way I mean the game organically makes these scenarios happen.

A game where I can choose to just sit on a park bench for 10 mins and accidentally witness NPCs make a drug deal that I may not even had noticed but the NPCs become suspicious and try to take me out and I spend the next two hours trying to survive or running to a police station, which can pose more problems.......

Like if my character dies, I will be pissed and heartbroken, not spawn at the nearest hospital.

I want GTA on super crack.

It seems like some of us completely open world game where the game is built off of whatever we do as a character. No main storyline or quest, just stories that stem from whatever action we take as the character. We want to be able to be the good guy and fight crime maybe join the police or other agency in the city, but we also want to be able to just become a bad guy and maybe to the extreme end of it a serial killer who works hard to cover his tracks and make sure he never gets caught. Pretty much a game that drops you into a city or something similar and the game is built off of your actions from the first person you talk to or first street you cross. Hell maybe you want to stay neutral and just go to work and try and make it as a regular person in the city not getting caught up in what's going on. That's all fine as well.

Maybe see the effects of your actions on the city. If you fight crime and catch a killer or other criminal organization the people feel safer and the population in certain areas that were once unsafe starts to grow. If you are on a crime spree, or spreading drugs to a part of the city, that part starts to get run down and over time turns into an area completely dependent on the drug trade. I want a living, breathing city that adapts and changes over time.

I would love a game that didn't start up and say "here is what you have to do." Maybe that's why I enjoyed Skyrim so much. You could completely ignore the main story and still get hours out of the game. The next step would be a more interactive city or landscape in which whatever you chose or whatever groups you joined effected how the land and people in it changed as well.
