One of the worst games I've ever played,worst game of the year and everyone involved in it should be fired by now. I was expecting a fun snowboarding game but got crap in a box.

Max Payne 3
Not that I had a lot of expectations but it's the worst game I've ever actually purchased.

Assassin's Creed III
Nowhere near the quality of the others. Connor isn't a very good character. Way too many QTEs that often fail to work. After 4 games it still can't be trusted to understand what you're trying to do,I fell short on a leap of faith somehow. It's not one of the worst games of the year but this is disapointing games,not ones that are just bad. (Thus Bellator and NHL 13 are off the hook because I expected those to suck.)

I guess I can include KoA Reckoning in the sense that the mod tools weren't released and the company sunk.

? Max Payne 3? Really? I don't even have a list and had to comment after seeing this....

Max Payne 3: Max's inner monologue just drags on to long and the gameplay was to long and boring.

Guild Wars 2: Maybe I'm just shouldn't play MMO's anymore they just don't keep my interest anymore.

Madden 13: we shouldn't have to change the play books to make the game better.

NCAA Football 13 - After a while the game got stale. I think I'm getting burnt out on this series, IDK.

Madden NFL 13 - Not even close to my lowered expectations and hopes. So many issues and problems, and 3 patches later we still have late game AI and playcalling AI out of something like Gameday or Quarterback Club on the PS1.

SSX - I just couldn't get into it at all.

Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends - See my review on OS for more. What a missed opportunity for a great niche title.

I'll add more if anymore come to mind.

For me: NCAA Football 13. It's just stale, particularly placed next to Madden NFL 13 (which I am still thoroughly enjoying).

I haven't bought that many games this year, unfortunately.

Max Payne 3 wasn't what I would have wanted out of a Max Payne game, but I knew that going in so I wasn't disappointed.

Ninja Gaiden 3 was a big let down.

I still found some enjoyment in it but it was far short of expectation. It really felt like it should have been an arcade title called Ninja Gaiden Lite on xbox live marketplace.

Yeah it has come up, due to people questioning your logic on it-not agreeing with you. It's your list, I just don't understand how not being good at a game equates to it being a bad game? You also put it into the same category as SSX? The worst game you ever purchased?

Madden 13 - So much hope.....lousy execution. I have barely played the game to be honest. I waited, and waited and waited some more for the big patch and by the time it came I had moved on. I play a game here and there and think CCM has a lot of potential. But the game is just reached a point of "what does it want to be"? I really have no clue anymore. On the other hand NCAA 13 has been a total blast for me. The game plays a tight and fun game of football and dynasty mode is totally addicting. I can see playing that game for years. Madden 13 will get some playing time from me eventually, but I am having too much fun with other titles currently. One thing is certain though. I am through buying any more new Maddens for years to come. I will not be getting a next gen console till at least 3 years after it's launch.....so Madden 13 will be my last Madden for a long time. Same for NCAA unless.....they take the presentation even farther. Gameplay wise I love it.


That really was my biggest letdown. I don't buy every game. This year I only purchased:

Mass Effect 3
MLB The Show 12
Madden 13
NCAA 13
XCOM Enemy Unknown
Borderlands 2
Hitman Absolution (picking it up today and I know I will enjoy it a bunch).
The Walking Dead (getting it in December after playing one episode and loving it).


Madden 13 is my only regret.

For me its MOH Warfighter and Madden 13. Anything with EA on it I will eye suspiciously for now on.

Naaaaa EA is one of the very best game developers in the world. So many great games....countless actually. The lemons are far and few IMO.

I beg to differ. But let's not get into a EA debate......I don't want to trainwreck a great thread.
