Re: Destiny
Yeah, they like to hide though, wanted them out of the way while I killed the tank. Turns out, at the back there is a big rock you can get on and have a good view to icebreaker the tank.Comment

Destiny
The sparrow? If so, that thing is fun as hell. And if it's the ship, it's still better to look at than one of the million Taco Bell diarrhea colored ships you get from blueprints. Magic School Bus > Magic Poop Bus

Re: Destiny
Two more full raids, still no armor. I think i've done the raid around 25-28 times. This is depressing.Comment

Re: Destiny
Ouch. I've only completed it three times (on normal) and have been lucky enough to get the gauntlets, chest and boots! 3 for 3 on armor for me. Also got VoC and the sniper. Come to think of it, I've been damn lucky in my raid drops.Comment

Re: Destiny
Picked this back up for the first time in at least a month with my Lvl 14 Warlock. I played one mission and it was fun, but I remember why I started growing a little tired of the game. I could predict how the mission was going to go before it happened. Find objective, defend while gathering info, mission end...
It's a little tiresome, honestly. I think the game does a lot right, but mission structure is a total bust. If I could find someone to sell it to here, I would let it go for fairly cheap. Otherwise, I'll shelf it again and pick it up again some other time.. I've got too many other games to pour an entire night into this one.Comment

Re: Destiny
"Destiny 2" in the Works
Activision Publishing CEO says work has begun on "our next full game release" in the Destiny series.Today during a post-earnings financial call, Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg revealed that development has started on the next "full game" in the Destiny series.
Speaking about the future of Destiny, Hirshberg said: "Work has also begun on future expansion packs, as well as on our next full game release."
A sequel to Destiny is not altogether surprising, given the fact that Activision Publishing has regularly maintained that it has a 10-year vision for the Destiny franchise. According to Activision, Bungie has a Lord of the Rings-sized narrative in mind for Destiny.
In addition, according to Bungie-Activision contract deals that emerged in 2012 called for multiple sequels to Destiny.
Earlier today, we learned that Destiny has 9.5 million "registered users" and that the average player is spending three hours in the game every day.
Activision did not share any further details about Destiny's sequel such as when it will be released or what new content and features it may include.
Asked for further details about the Destiny sequel, an Activision representative told GameSpot: "At Activision we are very pleased at the launch of Destiny and look forward to working with Bungie to expand the universe over the course of our 10-year relationship. We have nothing further to announce at this time."People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment

Re: Destiny
I watched a raid group complete Atheon a little differently today. They didn't even use the relic bubble; the relic holder stood in the very back of the room and used his special (the projectile from the shield) on Atheon, while everyone else stood on separate sides and just fired into him. It looked like one Titan stood on the middle platform with his own bubble up, which I'm guessing was for weapons of light.
I'm wondering if this strategy might be more reliable since the damage taken inside the relic bubble is somewhat inconsistent. It may take a tad longer to defeat him without the damage bonus, but they killed him on ~5 trips still.Comment
