Re: Dark Souls II
You actually don't have to do that
SpoilerThe Last Giant boss in the Forest gives you a key that unlocks a door I. That hellish area below the bonfire. There is a ring in the chest that steady refills life.
On another note finally found great soul arrows for my mage, and now got enough souls to use one of the special swords found for when I run low on Soul Arrows. Also upgraded my staff at the blacksmith in town so the spells do a little more damage now too. Onto an area I went earlier and got wrecked by giant knights...probably to little sucess

Re: Dark Souls II
From has done some pretty cool things with environment interactivity in this game, especially considering previous souls games had little to none outside of destroying random tables and barrels.Bulls|Bears|Cubs| Blackhawks|Huskies|Horned Frogs|

Re: Dark Souls II
Man, I'm so tempted to try this out. The first two games frustrated me in the little time I played them, but there is something to be said about a game that actually makes you feel so challenged that any small victory is rewarding in itself.
My problem is that I don't have as much time as I used to to game anymore, so I feel like I'd get frustrated if I never make any progress.
Ahh, I'll probably end up giving in and picking it up.Comment

Re: Dark Souls II
Try Sorcerer, having a viable ranged/magic attack can make the game a bit more manageable for new people to the series. You also might want to try playing online, sometimes getting help/seeing how others do things can give you an additional advantage.Oklahoma State Cowboys 2011 Big XII Champions, 2012 Fiesta Bowl Champions
