Anyone who checked out the stream last night(Almost 7 hour streaming). We had some crazy experiences. I'll try and grab some highlights from it today to post. Here is couple I can remember.

• Hit the North West Airfield with a buddy. He got sniped and I couldn't find the two which were popping shots at people. They finally located me and were able to land a couple shots to knock me unconscious. They then held me up and were talking crap, I knew they were going to kill me so I just made a break for it lol.
  
• Ran into 5 or 6 fresh spawns and we united with axes to attack two bandits holding up some fresh spawns. It was a funny altercation which ended with mad chaos of us all chasing them down axing them to death. I took a stray bullet from a friendly.
  
• On one occasion we run into a fresh spawn and he proceeds to tell us there is hackers in Elektro. All three of us head out to kill some hackers but along our way we run into a guy which was talkative. He had ammo which I needed so I proceeded to demand for the ammo. Well it was my mistake, I should of just shot him and took it because he set us up. The entire time he was talking and delaying the situation so his buddies could arrive. They mowed us down then laughed how they set us up.

That ax fight was hilarious.

So last nights stream was basically a perfect example of what DayZ is about. I started the stream as a brand new fresh spawn. I ran into some chaos early on but managed to not get murdered through it all. I then ran out and met my buddy who was carrying gear for me. We then made the trek for the North West Airfield, one of the more dangerous PvP places. So obviously no one wants to watch 3 hours of the stream to see all that, so I made a short video of just how quick life AND more importantly all your hard earned gear can be taken from you.

Its not a action pack video by any means, but I created it to show just how fast life changes in DayZ. Ohhhh and don't laugh at me jumping LOL, the headset is loud and it caught me off guard haha.

Got into a crazy exchange today. Me and my buddy went loot the west military base at night. As we were looting around, a guy runs up and shoots my buddy in the back but it doesn't kill him. I draw my weapon and see the guy going to loot him, I land a round square in his back. He then runs off and dies. At this point a second guy sees where I fired from and shoots several rounds my direction, then must of said "screw this" and took off running the other direction because he disappeared completely. Now my buddy is still laying unconscious on the ground bleeding to death but I don't want to run into the open not knowing where that one guy went. All of a sudden he says "I'm awake!!!" I then see him run into the small guard shack so he could bandage, when out of no where ANOTHER guy runs in behind him and shoots him LOL. Yet funny enough again it didn't kill him.

So at this point, I move in talking. Telling him he messed up and if he does not want to die, to walk out with his hands up and I won't kill him. He responds with some stupid mumble of "I AM OUTSIDE".

I'm posted right outside the door when I could hear punching sounds, then my buddy says "RUN IN HERE I JUST KNOCKED HIM OUT!!" "KILL HIM NOW". As I come around the corner, I see a guy laying on the floor, put one round in back his head, then I hear "Awwwwww **** I died". "Wait what??? I thought you were awake and knocked him out?". He says "No I passed out again right after knocking him out".

At this point I'm dying laughing and he keeps saying what what what. I tell him, I'm the one who executed you lol, you said he was knocked out so I run in and see a guy laying on the floor.

So back to the guy, he closed the bathroom door and was hiding in the room. I stayed in the room just outside the door for 20 to 30 min, no movement. At this point he must of thought I left, when I hear the pop of a soda can open..........He is drinking!!!!! I bust open the door and put 1 single round through his throat, folding him to the floor.

Yea, it didn't help we decided to hit the compound at night. When I charged into the room and first thing I see is a guy on the ground, I shot. It all happened so fast.

We both died laughing, but he wouldn't let me live it down because I could of had a epic hero save.

Last night we played the bandit role, setup on the hospital roof in Cherno and shot anyone that came into sight. We got into many gun battles but they couldn't penetrate our defenses. It was a very fun night.

Well damn! I may be getting a new PC next year, so I might it end up playing it that way. Plus the ARMA game that you and Auburn alumni plays looks really good too.

That is your best bet man. I upgrade every couple years and to make the load a little easier to bear what I do is a year out I start putting $100 away each month.

What CPU and GPU are you running with. I've got an i5 2500k and two GTX 660's right now, but I'm going to need to upgrade soon to keep up with newer games.

Do you like the 4690k? I know my 2500k still isn't bad, and it can overclock like a boss, but it is starting to show some age. However, with 2 GTX 660's, those are more of a bottleneck than anything else in my system. I'm hoping to be able to upgrade both by the end of the year, but I haven't made up my mind where I want to go with either.

Do you like the 4690k? I know my 2500k still isn't bad, and it can overclock like a boss, but it is starting to show some age. However, with 2 GTX 660's, those are more of a bottleneck than anything else in my system. I'm hoping to be able to upgrade both by the end of the year, but I haven't made up my mind where I want to go with either.

Yea i've been impressed with it. Plenty fast enough for any game out currently.

The 660s are easily your biggest bottleneck.

Next build I do the upper tier 80 series will be my next card. While I like the 290, im not a fan of AMD graphic cards and wish I would of went with a 980.
