Re: Day Z
I need to change the height and angle on my web camera. It is pointed to high and it makes me look high the entire time. Anyway, here is a small chat exchange we got into last night. It was very funny and witty when he responded back with "ruined & wrecked".

Re: Day Z
It went down on the stream last night. Me and my buddy were geared the hell up and decided to go look for some action. Right off the bat, we mowed down a guy within 2 min of spawning in. Then we moved through the city with no contacts for a while until we walled ourselves in the hospital.
It then went nuts, with gun fire all around nonstop, and many guys trying to kill us over and over again. I took a crossbow bolt to the leg, breaking my legs but luckily enough my buddy had a splint on him which got me back on my feet. He then took several shots and fell unconscious, while I was trying to defend them from killing him & people running in on me from 3 sides.
He had no bandages, I had no bandages, and out the blue it hit me "I have a sewing kit", which I used to stitch him up & stop the bleeding. He quickly woke up and managed to ditch all the ruined gear, we then were short on food & water and had to get out this war zone. Luckily enough he were able to escape and survive. It was a crazy awesome experience, which had me super pumped by the end. One of the better DayZ moments for me.Comment

Re: Day Z
Me and my crew will be streaming some more DayZ tonight. Picking up where we left off in my last post. We are planning to regear, recover some health, and hit some military compounds. It should be a night of excitement, military areas are always death zones.
Come hang out and cut up with us.

Re: Day Z
That 2500k if you OC it can still get you another 2 years at the rate CPUs are going performance wise which has been stagnant. Ever consider trying to sell those 660s and maybe get a 970 or even a 390?Comment

Re: Day Z
For sure, I like KD and Moon. Lately I've been running more H1Z1 battle royale, but I'll get back into DayZ once .59 hits stable release.Comment

Re: Day Z
I've never sold any of my parts before. I have thought about getting a 970 though. A lot.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: Day Z
Been playing a lot of DayZ again lately. I did kick my 2500k up to 4.5GHz and the game does seem to be running pretty decent for the most part. Does still stutter when I get into larger settlements. It doesn't feel like a frames issue, but more of a drive issue with it struggling to pull everything quick enough while I am making my way through. A SSD might smooth that out some more if I were to finally pull the trigger on one.
Still running my two GTX 660s. Haven't convinced myself to grab a 970 just yet as I still run every other game perfectly fine at 1080.
As for DayZ I have a new found love for lock picks. Never used them before, but now I have been since playing again and use them to lock up the building I am in and log out. Though my buddy and I did just lock up in a building and my lock picks got ruined locking it up, but I assume an ax to the door will unlock it. I know bullets do at the very least.
I'm struggling to find .357 ammo. Running with a repeater and an MP5 in my improvised backpack. I have 205 round for my MP5, but only 57 for my repeater.
Phobia, if you're on UN, we've basically been running around as bandits more or less, so hopefully we don't cross paths and take one another out haha.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: Day Z
LOL, I haven't played DayZ in months. When they had .59 on experimental I quit and moved to H1Z1 Battle Royale, since then I've been playing a lot of Rainbow Six Siege.
My current plan right now is to play these 3 thoughout 2016. I'll then stream and throw in the odd singleplayer game mixed in but these 3 will be my go to games for 2016.Comment

Re: Day Z
Nice. We ended up getting into a 15 minute shootout with a guy just west of Krasnostav (don't remember the name of the place we were actually at) that resulted in no one dying. You'd think that'd be annoying or boring, but not in this game. One encounter gets my blood flowing enough to make it a great night.
The guy was just chilling on top of a construction building looking like he was just trying to snipe whoever showed up. We didn't spot him until we got withing 400 yards or so and were grabbing a drink and looking out the windows of the house we were in. I was mostly stuck just looking through the binoculars and acting as a spotter for my buddy since my MP5 definitely isn't going to be great at that range and the repeater isn't much either past 300. My buddy at least had a mosin.
We did kill a guy in Novy and I almost felt bad for the guy. We had chased him out of town and into the woods. The elevation change hid him and we lost sight on him, so we were split up and got behind a tree line and I was able to spot the guy behind a tree next to a creek looking back for us. The only thing was he didn't realize we were behind him so I was able to sneak up about 50 feet behind him and my buddy put a round in his back and dropped him. I had already hit him once in the lower back with my repeater so my best guess is he bandaged up and while doing so wasn't able to look out for us and see either one of us get past him.
I don't know why I found it so funny to just see him standing there behind a tree looking for us. The poor guy looked kind of helpless and innocent which is why I almost felt bad for us getting him.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”
