We're still getting those, right? The 16 DLC packs of additional items, questions, and costumes. To think an expansion of 30-40 total hours (featuring new locations at that) would be free is ridiculous. Where are these people at when other gaming companies are nickel and diming alternate costumes, additional items, and horse armor?

I don't think there is a legitimate reason to complain. As far as I know the full game is still in tact with the $60 retail edition. Still, with this developer, $90 for 250 hours of gameplay is a steal.

Essentially we are paying $ 90.00 to experience full games.
No your paying 60 bucks to experience the full game then paying 30 bucks of you want to play something not on disk.

I agree, people complaining about the DLC from this developer is rediculous. People are just being spoiled brats now. The reason the first 16 DLC are free is because it was stuff that was meant to be in the game but cut bevause of time restraints (what I remember reading).

          ^^ Same here...

..except that the 'winters' here in Ft Lauderdale aren't so 'wintery'...lol

I'll def pick this game up as I'm a HUGE fan of Open-World games, but I have waaaay too many games to keep me busy (TLOU:Remastered, Far Cry 4, GTAV, Dragon Age Inq, & when OSFM is finished, The Show.)

Prolly pick this game up right before the New Year - aok with me.

Expansion done right and the DLC is free. CDProjekt going back in time before the horse armor debacle from elder scrolls.

You can get the Season Pass for essentially $15 if you pre-order on PSN...the game + that for $76 I think it is.

Yeah I'm gonna jump all over that...at least 30 hours of true story basic expansions on top of an already massive game for that price plus all the free DLC is a steal IMO.

This game is looking amazing. Ima hold off on this until around Christmas. The open world of this game is amazing and just gets me excited for the future Fallout and Elder Scroll games.

20% bigger than skyrim is insane and would take me about 100 hours just to explore every bit of it.

Game can be pre-loaded now(well, not on GOG apparently), and like GTA 5 essentially goes live a day early for the Western Hemisphere.

We also now know the file sizes for the three versions of The Witcher 3. According to the game's product pages, the PC and PS4 editions weigh in at around 35 GB, while the Xbox One version is about 25 GB. It's not clear why the Xbox One version is a full 10 GB smaller than its counterparts.

I've never played The Witcher before. I don't remember ever seeing or hearing anything about the other games before, and I didn't know anything about this game until a few days ago.

But this looks amazing. I'm definitely going to be pre-ordering, but I hope I'm not completely lost on the story because I didn't play the other games. Maybe I'll try to watch a playthrough of them.

So wait preordering the digital edition takes 7 dollars off?

Hmm still a better discount with Best Buy but that's cool as hell by cd project (granted it should be cheaper than that digital) but they at least tried to make it a little cheaper for people.
