I'm still very early, only level 5, but I spend a lot of time looting and picking up flowers. I find myself very cash strapped and constantly in need of food and things that improve vitality..

Do you guys sell things that are in your crafting purse? I sell a lot of old weapons and armor that I pick up and find a long the way.. Curious if I should sell some of my high value crafting inventory as well? (Some of it is worth a lot of coins)

You can sell of some stuff early to stock up on supplies. Early money is a little bit of a struggle. It evens out mud game, then becomes a struggle again after end game when crafting Master level.stuff.

Just finished my second full playthrough! Clocked in at 130 hours. Now for the first time I am on to the Expansions. Yup thats right I have never played either one. So after a solid year and two playthroughs I am getting new Witcher content!

I am so excited.

One of the greatest games I've ever played. How big are the expansion packs? I have the GOTY edition which includes the expansions. But I haven't started the missions.

These questions are always a little tough to answer. After the Battle of Kaer Morhen you have about 10/30 maybe even 50+ hours left. This all depends on your play style and what you are trying to accomplish. Do you fast travel, have everything done that you wanted to do, finished up all the Witcher Contracts, need to level up some more? From where you are in the story you could finish in 10/15 hours maybe, if you went straight at it. You could also easily put another 100 hours in finishing up everything, maybe more if you wanted to get Heart of Stone out of the way before the ending.

IIRC, most of the contracts/side quests start thinning out by this point. The last act was the shortest one for me simply because I had finished most of the side stuff by this point and only had the main quest left.

Where you over-leveled for the main quest at that point? I'm trying to do the main quest stuff within a few levels either way of my character. Still have a lot of contracts to do.

I stayed within 5 levels of the main quest and ended up finishing at level 34/35.

I finally took the plunge back in. Save file says 10/22 so it's been almost a year since I played. Looking at my quest log and the last few posts, I'm right at the end. Level 34, rocking a mastercrafted Griffin set. But I'm lost. So, so lost.

There was a UI change/update at some point since I last played? It gave me tool tips when I did everything for the first time again. That was actually perfect since I had been away for so long. It did not unfortunately remind me how to do combat! Gonna take a bit to figure that out again. My quest list is so very empty except the main and two expansion starting quests, I've got one secondary (which I'm positive was bugged on me before) and one contract. Not a whole lot of ? left around but I've got some remembering how to fight to do.

The UI changes came in a patch before Blood and Wine came out.

I wonder how many ppl have got the platinum trophy or max achievements for this game? Just wondering since this game is so huge and takes awhile to beat it.

I was thinking about picking this game up, was thinking something to play over the winter in between other sports games and battlefield.

I'm assuming that getting this game is a safe bet, I was also looking at bloodborne.

I prefer this over Bloodbourne but also thought Bloodborne was a Souls Game with stripped out equipment. Hated it but I know I am one of the few.
