Re: The Witcher 3
my favorite thing about the game was gwent. i love games that have side games, like the card game in ff8. or gambling in fallout nv, more games should do that.Comment

Re: The Witcher 3
My one other tip would be to turn off the armor/weapon damage indicator on the HUD. The decrease in effectiveness is very inconsequential. You'll start worrying about always fixing your weapons and armor when in reality, all you need to do is occasionally repair those items when you stumble upon a blacksmith or find a kit. It's mostly just a waste of money though if you're constantly doing so.Comment

Re: The Witcher 3
Currently Gerald is at Level 9 in my first play through, Death March is proving to be a great challenge....
The Witcher 3 has set the bar so high for side quests... Bioware must have played TW3 and been like...."yeh these side quests are way more enjoyable than find and fetch crap in DA:Inquisition".
I'm so impressed with everything in this game, the graphics, gameplay, the characters, the beasts, the lands, it's just...wow!, it takes some time too really open up the greatness of The Witcher but once you do, you will get hooked!Comment

Re: The Witcher 3
I recommend finishing FO4 first. You'll have big trouble returning to FO4 after TW3. FO4 isn't bad but the quality of this game is excellent.Comment

That's what I'm trying to do. Finish FO4 then focus on this

Hopefully I can go back to Fallout in a few months after TW3 has worn off.Comment

Re: The Witcher 3
I finished my first play thru and did something I have never done before. As soon as the credits finished, I started it over again. Didn't even leave the game for a second before playing again.
I bought Fallout and got about 25-30 hours in and I am playing The Witcher again and I haven't touched Fallout in two weeks. In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

Re: The Witcher 3
I've played the previous 2 Fallout games...I'm a big fan of the Dragon Age and Mass Effect series...I'm looking back at them and thinking how hollow the side quests were in comparison to The Witcher!, especially Dragonage!...collecting over 120 shards wasn't fun!...Fallout might feel a little basic after this as they have never been super narative driven games!Comment
