Yes it does, and I have no doubt that the gameplay will be incredible as well. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

That statue alone has convinced me to preorder the collector's edition.

                  Like really?

While fans can certainly stick with a digital copy of Wild Hunt, CD Projekt is offering some incentive to grab the physical box copy. The standard edition, with an equally standard price of $60 regardless of platform, includes a copy of the game (Blu-ray for consoles and DVD for PC), the game soundtrack on CD, a developer-created Witcher Universe - The Compendium booklet, a detailed map of the in-game world, a set of stickers, and a protective sleeve for the game disc.

The third alternative is the collector's edition, which comes in at around $150; GameStop currently has a $149.99 price tag attached to the product. This version contains everything from the standard edition, plus substantial extras. What's really pushing the price here is that hand-painted statue of Geralt cutting down a griffin, highlighted in the unboxing video (below).
                  • All the contents from the standard edition of the game
                  • A giant, 33x24x26 cm (10”), 100% hand painted, Polystone figure of Geralt of Rivia battling a Griffin
                  • An exquisite, collector-grade Witcher medallion
                  • A one-of-a-kind SteelBook box
                  • A two-hundred-page artbook, containing breathtaking art from the game
                  • Huge outer and inner Collector’s Boxes you can store your Witcher
                    merchandise in!

Have never played 1 or 2 but i'm on this one, looks really good. Think i'll get it on my One though, just like gaming on console so much better.

Would like that statue but 150 for a game and extras is a lot, I don't know if I an bring myself to spend that. Maybe as it gets closer the hype will get to me and i'll cave but i'll see.

The standard has so much! That statue is awesome but I won't pay $100 for it. I don't care much for the rest.

Never got around to playing Witcher 2 (or the first for that matter) but this is looking like a definite must buy.

Trying to work through my gaming backlog over the summer and I'm adding Witcher 2 onto it, no idea if I'll make it to it, hoping I will but have so much I want to get to before the fall when more games will be coming out I want.

I hate elitist *******es like these. CDProjekt is one of the few developers that are PC minded. Why would he think that it's going to be a downgrade....unbelievable....

Game is looking awesome on next gen and knowing CDProjekt they will have that one setting for the PC version that will make my card scream.
