Hmm I haven't changed anything and I'm pressing Left trigger/L2...let me check this out to make sure cause it's getting on my nerves

You'll know if Geralt is holding his sword up and out in front of him that you're blocking. Honestly, if it's a one on one fight, I typically just dodge and attack. In groups, yeah, you wanna keep your distance, block, and pick your spots.

I crafted the viper swords pair for Gerald and I love the chance to poison effect they have.

Right where you begin the game. From the big tree walk across the path you'll see it on the ground. No clue what it is for yet.

For reference the beginning spot is on the road northeast of the Crossroads. Which is on the far East portion of the map of White Orchard

Man I gotta start being meaner... I'm making no money being all nice and helpful.... And you can sell any of his stuff once you get better drops or diagrams... I had the Warriors vest forever and I looked in my inventory and had a chest piece that was a +32 than that I was wearing... I'm in the process now of making the two swords

Its a quest that you get in White Orchard. Go to the ruined castle that you have to climb to, im pretty sure its marked by a ?. Without spoiling much its a little quest line. Be prepared for a fun fight.

Just a quick tip. Try to travel to all the ? in white orchard. There are at least 4 places of power around there and each one gives you an ability point.

Don't forget you collect two other types of money, Orens/Florens? and you have to trade them in for Crowns at the bank to use them.

More than likely my ADD will keep me from finishing the game. I'm not helping much by wanting to simply explore a lot. Did finish the first part last night though.

Hoping to play more tomorrow after work IF I don't have to work tomorrow night. If I do work then I won't get more time with game until Friday night.

I really wish we could zoom out a little on PS4. I've never been too picky with 1st or 3rd person, I like them both in their own setting. But something that's always been crucial to me is being able to widen the FOV in 3rd person.

The world is huge and beautiful. But you really only get a sense of that when looking into the distance. If we could back the camera up a bit it would add so much more depth when riding / fighting / walking through towns.

Same here. Also when riding Roach.. I tilt camera to get better view but after a few seconds it resorts back to a too much downword angle.
Hate that.

Did you turn both down? I had turned side to side down, but not up and down.

I'll definitely have to try turning both down to 0 and see how that plays out.

Amazing game but the walking/running controls are pretty damn awful lol. I suppose after 100 hours I'll be used to them though

For PS4 versions of the game there's a glitch atm. In the first area there's one of those "kill enemies to repopulate a area" missions along the road at an alter. Yuour supposed to wipe out ghouls however the glitch is they never spawn preventing you from finishing that mission. Devs said they are working on a fix.

Just a heads up...the dlc is out (for those that didn't know) you get the beard and different hair styles,as well as some armor for you and your horse.

I noticed it after I shut my game off so I'm not sure how to find it,maybe someone can chime in if they've found it in game yet.

Gets to second area, goes to first bounty board, gets a lvl 33 monster hunt quest. Looks at level and is only like 6.

Interview about the 'downgrade', 600+ change patch submitted to certification today improving graphics, adding more graphics options and they are continuously working on the PC version and have a lot more to come.
