I already spend a lot of time playing Gwent in this game... I'd spend a lot more time playing it against other people

You should be able to have matches against friends. I almost demand this, lol.

Does anyone know the correct order to play the side quests in White Orchard? I found out that if not done at the right time or not in a certain order, you'll end up missing the quest completely as it simply won't appear. If anyone could help me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Pretty sure that's not true. Where did you hear that?

So for this first play through I'm doing half my mutagens and ability slots as blue (magic/signs/stamina) and my other half as green (alchemy/vitality). Loving it so far. I feel like a war wizard just blasting fools

My second time thru I will go red (attack power-adrenaline) and the fourth slot, whatever that's considered, utility ones

Read it on IGN wiki guide after not being able to open up a side quest at all. It's part of the Treasure Hunt side quests. I did the Deserter Gold and the Temerian Valuables side quests and despite having the note that's needed for Dirty Funds, the quest is unavailable because it's meant to be done after Deserter Gold.

After that happened, I did a search for the side quests and on IGN, it says this -

"There are multiple Side Quests in the various explorable areas of The Witcher 3. Most all side quests have a certain recommended level, and many are available only under certain conditions, and can affect other side quests in the area."

It's not just White Orchard either. It's throughout the game. It's here and there but im not happy about this. I want to do all the side quests but it seems like some of them have to be done before others because it affects them somehow.

I have been trying to find a guide online that has all the side quests in numerical order in regards to when they should be done but I haven't found what im looking for yet.

Does anyone here have the Player's Guide book? Maybe, it's in there but I don't want to spend $25 to find out and then still have the same problem.

God, these side missions. Just had a string of them where this game is hitting on all cylinders.

A Tower Full of Mice and Wild At Heart back-to-back put other game's main quests to shame.

I'm calling it now: GOTY. Maybe greatest game of all-time.

If you're on the fense, hop on over and pick this bad boy up. I am just constantly floored and wowed and it just never seems to stop.

Those two side quests back to back, as I did them as well, were awesome

I'm getting that red dead redemption best game I've ever played vibe from this game, I'm just really into it.

Just got my griffin school armor, I'm level 8, I don't want to progress the main quest I just want to live in this moment forever

Finally found a guide on YouTube of all places. Was thinking text when I should have been thinking video. LOL.

But watching the video, the Deserter Gold quest is first followed by Dirty Funds and then the Temerian Valuables quest.

I also realized that some of the notes that you need to read weren't in the quest items section of my inventory. That's how I knew I wasn't going to be able to complete it. Thankfully, I was only a few hours into the game today and should hopefully be able to complete White Orchard tomorrow. Yay!!!

Despite never playing the previous two games at all, im enjoying The Witcher 3 but wish they would have changed some stuff like not having to complete side quests in a certain order in order to complete other side quests. Game is definitely damn good.

I love the fact that none of the loot dissappears.... So when I get overburdened.. I have a house right by a sign marker where I keep all my books and stuff that I don't want to sell

Just finished the Hunt for a Witch MQ and wow, this game is just pure quality. I have yet to feel that " oh great another fetch quest" dread, I'm only level 6 and haven't even begun to get into the crafting and mutagens you guys are talking about.
