I did The Volunteer quest last night. The rock trollolo songs made me chuckle.

Skellige honestly feels like it's going to be an entire new game. In the very small section I traveled, the scenery and change in elevation made for a nice change of pace. I can't believe there's basically another Velen-sized map to explore. I figured this section would be a lot smaller. And from the first set of ?'s that were sprinkled on the map, looks like I'm in for a lot of sailing. What a game.

I don't remember. I did something with him, and now he's not on the map. Maybe he's on the Isles now? I'm sure I'll find him again somewhere.

I'm in the same boat. I almost feel like using another deck just for a challenge against merchants. My NR deck is stacked. My Nilfgard and Scoa'Tel decks are strong too but I am less experienced with them so it feels tougher

This week's free DLC is a new Scavenger Hunt for Wolf Gear and an alternative look for Triss.

Just hunted and forged Ursine gear, now we get wolf. That's OK, don't really care for how the ursine looks.

Also, something I discovered, if you dismantle a piece of gear to get the glyphs out of it, those glyphs can't be used in crafting. Have 6 lesser igni glyphs in my inventory and can't craft them into higher pieces.

Hmmm, I bet that's why I have a couple glyphs that won't stack with the others if their kind.

Had the Region 3/Asian version of Witcher 3 which were late on updates and forced me to make a hongkong account for the DLC. I had purchased the Expansion Pass for the US version too so I had to sell it. Just got the Digital version and apparently all my saves were gone too which is fine because I wanna play through this amazing game again and now they announce wolf armor? Life is good.

You can make the boat go faster by pressing A on your gamepad.

Yeah, there are two speeds to the boat. Pressing and holding A. Also, you double tap A and hold for an even faster speed. Just like the horse controls.

Made it back to Kaer Morhen. Nice to see the castle again. The layout is almost exactly the same as Witcher 1. Story really picks up here to a point where I don't want to slow down and I also don't want to finish the game to quickly.

Knew about holding A, not double tapping though. Still took the better part of an hour to sail there, and it was a BORING *** trip. I don't recommend.
