It's taken me a good amount of time to adjust my fighting style to how one has to play in this game. I had gotten use to the Mordor style where I could beat 20 orcs with barely a scratch on me.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

What's the most comprehensive game guide for this? Is it a prima guide?

I bought the Prima guide yesterday at Best Buy. It's a whopping 498 pages including the front and back cover. It has everything listed in the game, all the quests, scenarios, etc. Expensive at $30 but I sold the left over Xbox One controller for $30 so it didn't really cost me anything except some time. Now, im just waiting for the next patch to be released that solves the XP bug and the side quests bug. Going through this guide and reading it is a quest in itself. :P

Do guides tell you how to solve quests or are they just deeper insights into the quests?

I will get the guide after I'm done going through the game myself. No way do I want anything at all ruined my first time through. As for the XP bug, I think it's overstated and doesn't have any effect on what the game is supposed to be whatsoever. I'm already easily over-leveled for the main quest recommendations by quite a bit since I'm doing the secondary quests as I go along.

                      Re: The Witcher 3

The XP bug bothers me a little, but I am affected in a big way. I am lvl 15 and lvl 12 quests in Novigrad aren't giving me anything.

It is weird that when I go to Skellige I get XP for everything over there.

I am sure that by the end of the game I will be able to reach max level, not trying to make a mountain out of a molehill. But it does kind of suck when a quest like R's Treasure or Get Junior give nothing after an hour or so of work.

I am halfway considering getting the PC version of the game for the hotfix/patch support and the mods. I just don't know if I wanna finish a playthrough on PS4 first and then switch or just start over despite my 30+ hours already put in.

I swear they could sell Gwent as a stand alone spin off and I would buy that **** in a second.
