Re: The Witcher 3
Does anyone have this game on Xbox One? I have a PS4 too and was thinking about picking this up, but my Xbox just kind of collects dust. Was thinking about getting it for that but concerned how it would run on the One.

Re: The Witcher 3
Not really a spoiler but a question about an animal roaming the woods in Velen:
SpoilerWhat the **** is that slenderman like beast roaming the woods in Velen? He has a deer head I think but walks on two legs and is like a level 20 and kills me instantly!
The third time I saw him I ran away like a little girl.
What the hell is that creepy thing? He literally stalks you and walks slowly and is frightening!-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment

Re: The Witcher 3
I had something interesting happen with one of the random encounters:
Several days ago while roaming Velen I happened upon a soldier tied up and left along the lake-shore for the Drowners. Apparently he was a run-away soldier, but when he returned home the villagers decided his cowardice needed to be punished. Instead of leaving him there I decided to let him go.
Yesterday I was roaming just south of Novigrad and came upon the same man except this time he had made camp a little bit off the road with 3 other bandits. There were also some local villagers impaled on pikes around the camp. Suffice to say Geralt was none too happy about this guy's turn of events and decided to put an end to this enterprise.
Its the small things like that that really go a long way in building up the world and providing some really cool moments.
I decided to pursue other adventures until I level up a bit more because those stupid things make me their B#T%H every time I face them, hahaha

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: The Witcher 3
I ordered that big *** special edition one that I think Daniel7 was talking about. Coming in from Amazon tomorrow, says its close to 500 pages.
This game is awesome though. Probably already my favorite RPG ever and top 3 overall all time for me."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: The Witcher 3
Yeah, the guide is 498 pages. I bought it because it tells you all the main quests and the secondary quests that should be done because it affects which ending you'll get when you complete the game. Also, it has all the secondary quests that you can pretty much do at any time so I figured that I'll just use the guide to go through all the quests as I don't want to miss any as those who posted on neogaf say that 95% of the side quests are at the very least good or better which is very rare. I'm up to the Bloody Baron main quest but im waiting for the patch to be released. Hoping by Friday night as im off five days starting Saturday. Only negative that I have with all the side quests and even the main quests is that you have to use your Witcher senses almost every time which im not a fan of. I don't mind using it but not as much as it's required.Comment
