I keep wanting more of a "Skyrim experience" with this game and it's completely different (as I already knew), but I still don't get all the hype with this game... I wish I felt the same as most of you, but it's just gonna keep collecting dust until 'maybe one day' it'll grab me...

For me it's the writing and the tone of the game compared to Elder Scrolls titles or other similar titles. I still enjoy those games, but they feel hollow to me.

I was kinda the same way, but for a little bit longer of a stretch, 2-3 times.

Great game, beautiful game, amazing world. I think what killed it for me (and it's not only TW3) is the feeling like I need to constantly search and loot everything. I know I don't NEED to, but it feels like I need to then I just get burnt out on that + inventory management.

May be an odd thing, but I guess I get OCD about it and it winds up turning me off to the desire to keep playing.

I never got into mods on Skyrim, so this game made Skyrim (and Fallout 4 for that matter) look like poop. I think those Bethesda games are fun and all but I just can’t get past how bad they look in comparison.

Skyrim felt really barbones to me compared to Morrowind. The character itself was more polished and developed, but the world surrounding you felt shallow. To me The Witcher 3 did both well.

Going with Triss on playthrough #3...

Felt legitimate anxiety when I officially broke things off with Yen in the last wish quest.

Thinking of switching things up with Cirilla as well. What would you guys recommend? I had the Witcher ending with her on the first 2.

What, what, what!! Currently reading the books and there's no way I'd bring Ciri back now (did so for playthrough two). And sorry, Team Yen. I've toyed with Team Triss...smoking hot redhead and all, but she's such a fangirl/sister to Ciri figure in the books that my mind can't do that somersault.

Figure I'll start up playthrough three later this fall while my son starts Switcher 3. Might have to disown him if it's not his GOAT...[emoji16]

Bringing Ciri to her pops is better than the other alternative not mentioned...... that ending hurt...

I've had this game sitting on my hard drive for like 3 years and finally started playing it, WOW! beautiful Game, Deep, very well done. I think when I initially bought the game it was due to the Hype, but I wasn't into RPGs at the time. However, with playing the last two Assassin's Creed Games and GOD of War, the RPG element was introduced to me and I'm definitely hooked!

Please send any pointers my way...Im on Level 6, so I want to make sure I'm maximizing my build.

Take your time and explore. Potions/decoctions are awesome but can kill you if you don't know what you're doing.
Figure out the type of build you want and upgrade accordingly.
With that said, pay attention to perks that certain armor/swords give you.

                                Don't **** with Leshens.
