Also some dlc single player missions (3 in total but I think 1 at a time released over the next 3 weeks) where you save Winston Churchill before the Casablanca conference.

Just picked it up. I'm really having a good time with it. I know it's no game of the year but it's fun. Sometimes that's all you need. Not every game has to be the be all and end all for me.

I agree, it is fun and I'm having a good time. My only big problem is what I feared going in is that the game lacks long-range kills. my longest is under 200m, and I can't really see the game allowing me to setup 5 and 6oom kills. It's a shame because that's what the ultimate payoff is for a sniper, not 63m headshots from a guy spraying mp40 bullets at you. Most levels you actually wouldn't do too badly not firing the sniper at all and just doing stealth kills and traps.

As I said earlier in the thread I have a headshot kill in bf4 over 1200m and regularly get 5-800m kills in that game. For a dedicated sniper game it's almost criminal to NOT include long-range opportunities.

I watch people play this online and it looks like a blast and not too hard to get into. Then I try and I end up with 2 kills and 10 deaths. Ugh.

As soon as I get my PC back up and running...I'm downloading this and going straight to MP.
I played a "No Cross" match on a good map on multilplayer....what a blast!

I might grab it on sale...and I do agree that games with Co-op are more interesting to me.

I'll wait to see what it looks like when some of you guys are playing. There are certain things about it I like... but hopefully they've opened it up a ton more.

Haven't gotten into it yet but i did finally pick this up when it went on sale for 29.99. Heere's to hoping i enjoy it much more than SE2

Got this for 10 bucks on XBL sale...looking forward to something better than V2, the open world has me thrilled. Love the gameplay, V2 was just so linear it annoyed me a lot.

I wasn't high on it as you could tell but it was very fun, the stealth the roaming and different ways to get some things done.

Its definitely worth 10 bucks and since youre familiar with the combat and controls of 2 this should do you well.

Exactly. I know it's not perfect, but I'll enjoy it for what it is....

No its alot of fun and much more fun than 2.... not even about perfection to be honest.. The graphics and lighting are pretty good, the night missions are fun the ai can be dumb normal or all knowing depending on the situation lol..but its not anything that will ruin the game for you.

Mostly if you're going stealth then you need to do it right, and the best part is if you want to go guns blazing you can do it that way too.

Well if you play 3 you might not like 2 as much to be honest but you can play both as im pretty sure they're both cheap.

Those Germans in 2 were just way too omniscient though lol.


I haven't had a chance to play co-op in 3 but I'd love to. I know that can be a blast.

Agree 100% on 2. I'd play that first if you want to play both (though I haven't played 3 yet obviously). 2 was very linear and the AI would rush you way too easily. I'd get stuck without ammo and be hosed. The bullet time stuff is still amazing in that one though.
