On PC the graphics are pretty damn good, to bad my PC is a slide show on very high. So looks like tomorrow after pay day the parts will be ordered.

Techland announced today that it is currently working on a performance patch for the PC version of Dying Light. As the team specifically said, it is working ‘hard to make sure a patch fixing framerate issues on affected software/hardware setups.’ In the meantime, Techland suggested PC gamers to set their View Distance at 50% (which … Continue reading Techland Is Working On A Performance Patch For Dying Light, Recommends Using View Distance At 50% →

Seeing things like that made me go PS4 for it, along with the trade credit I figure I will get for it once I beat it. Interested in hearing how it performs once you upgrade and they patch it though.

So still having weird bugs with the skill progression. As I said earlier I got back on the other day and I had lost all of my inventory, blueprints, cash, and skill points. While I was enjoying my short sword I stumbled on last night, I suddenenly jumped to level 23 survival... letting me unlock all of the survival skills but one. I'm not even that far in the game so it's definitely a glitch.

EDIT: I found two upgrades for my badass sword, which I will henceforth be referring to as The Sword of 1,000 Truths

Hearing about the skill that makes repairs free is great news. Hate upgrading weapons just to lose them.

These exploding Mofos are really starting to tick me off. It's sometimes hard for me to pick em out and I go in for the kill and insta-death. Back to the safehouse that's not really even that close to the mission I'm doing.

Need better check points while climbing towers. If there is a ton of crap to climb in this game I can see the lack of them cutting into my playtime.

I'm assuming it's impossible at this point, but my buddy tried to SharePlay the game to me so that we could attempt to co-op it through SharePlay. It hasn't worked yet.

                Impossible, correct?

That is correct. Share play works with the game but for co-op both people must own the game.

I'm loving this game, but I prefer Dead Island so far. I love having the ability to climb everything, the visuals are pretty good, but not amazing. The story is not bad, but the protagonist Crane bugs the hell out of me. I found looting and exploring much more fun in Dead Island, and really miss Analog stick combat.

Game was annoying tonight. Wasted so many lock picks trying to get in a police van. Anyone have any tips? Do you just go slow? Even when I turned the lock slow it would not vibrate until I almost had it then it would just vibrate quickly and snap. Very annoying. Enough for me to put the game down for the night and not even bother.

Yea, pretty much go slow. The slower you're turning the lock the quicker you'll be able to let your thumb off when the rumble starts. The longer the rumble the more damage being done to the pick. The sweet spot on hard locks is so small it can be difficult to find sometimes though. I can get lucky and find it in just a couple or it takes me 10+ to get through a hard lock.

Very slow.... As soon as I feel the vibration I back off and tweak..

so far pretty fun although I wish there was a greater variety in zombies. they Look like hippies or something. Lock picking is definitely a challenge and the beginning tutorial actually helps a lot. The game does require you to think a lot.

Maybe it's just me, but I find lockpicking super easy. I have like a hundred picks to spare right now and I havent been crafting them since early on. It's ripped straight from Fallout and Skyrim (which isn't a bad thing, it just feels less challenging than those games) and I put so much time into those games which is probably why I find it easy.

I'm a decent ways into the game now and the voice acting has become irritable. It wasn't so bad for awhile but now it bothers me. It might just be bad writing, but I find myself laughing often because it's so bad.

Still enjoying the game overall though.
