Enough for me to put the game down for the night and not even bother.
I find it fairly easy. My tip is start with teh lockpick all the way to one side then slowly go clockwise or counter clockwise depending on the way you started from. Test small increments and as soon as you feel a vibrate, back off and move it a little more to try again.

The game has a bunch of easter eggs, ran into the Destiny Loot Cave easter egg during the Lavender sidequest.

The make or break aspect for this game for me is the exploration side...I know it has a main quest line but can you break off, explore, and just scavenge/craft and cause mayhem ala Far Cry?

There are a ton of little side quests and from the ones I've done so far they seem a million times more meaningful and less generic than the ones in FC4.

Yes you can. In fact, i barely touched the main quest and instead hunt a lot for supplies, boost some abilities, side quests, help out npcs that are sometimes randomly in trouble by zombies or raiders, and search for airdrops. Tons of exploration.

Awesome, what I wanted to hear.

With these open world games, I've pretty much got to the point where I become less interested in the main storyline and love exploring and creating my own stories almost.

Easter eggs galore, I ran into a group of zombies doing Gangnam style.

Takes just a few main missions to really open up the game and get mechanics unlocked. Then you're free to explore to see what you find. It's a little bit different causing mayhem than in FC since it's more melee orientated and guns/explosions attract the more difficult infected and it's easy to get overrun. It can be done though.

When I mean cause mayhem, I should've worded it better lol...I kinda just meant doing things on your own, doing what you want.

The exploration aspect is pretty big. With the parkour system you can climb on just about everything and go anywhere. A lot of buildings can be entered, and in other ways then the front door. There's a ton of side missions to get you to interact with the world and they aren't all just simple fetch quests. Although there's a good amount of those too.

This right here. The side missions really breath life into the world and I feel like I'm doing them for a reason not just to get some xp, cash, or a blueprint.

I seem to have the most fun at night. I guess those dead night zombies(are they night hunters?) can't be killed? Maybe not until far later? I got destroyed by one while trying.

I agree with you - this game would definitely benefit from a greater variation of zombies. Almost every female zombie is just in a bra, too, which is really weird.

Also, maybe I'm not far enough, but my kicks dont seem to do too much to them. You would think something that can barely walk would get knocked over by most kicks ... maybe its a game mechanic thing that would amke it too easy, I dont know. It just seems like they should fall over more. I hope theres an upgrade for kick.
