If any level 30 is interested, the vendor in Clinton at the Wolves Den safe house is currently selling at level 30 purple vector 45. It's not the yellow high end but it is a fantastic piece of gear for 55,000. It should be up for sale until the vendor restock this evening.

Game is down for maintenance isn't it? I figured the timers (and the vendor stock) could wind up resetting.

That's true I didn't even think about the server maintenance resetting the vendors potentially

Oh ok, so for now it all based on luck until it gets patched. Guess I gotta go up to DZ05-06 to get some high end gear.

Do the DZ bosses drop any other high end weapons other than the Midas?

What's your guys' dps stam electronics looking like?

I'm at 141k dps 70k stam and 16k electronics. I'm thinking about selling out to go all dps. Specifically smg dps. That vector just melts people.

Some guys went rogue on us while we were clearing the sports store. They were stupid enough to stay there and fight the mob, knowing we would spawn at the safe house right down the block. Went in there, popped dps super and massacred them. The health went down so fast. So sad.

Well good guess because there's been a reddit thread that says to do exactly that, buy the vector gold blueprint first lol.

That and the Midas seem to be the best bet for smgs right now.

Right now I am liking the flash bang mod on the sticky bomb for the high level challenge mode enemies. Fast recharge, large radius, and can slow down the mobs advance on you significantly

The Lincoln Tunnel challenge mission can be done in about 40 minutes or less with a 4 man group. You just gotta learn all the vantage points and keep the rushers off you in the choke points/corridor and tunnel sections. That can be farmed pretty easily once you get the hang of it.
The dual overlapping support heal stations was a nice find too, seems like health regen was happening faster in the area that overlaps. Did you see that as well Jare?

I'm probably a bit far from this level, but how do you get it, purchase it?

Is for sale at the advanced weapons vendor upstairs in your base. You gotta unlock the vendor.

And yeah, you'll accumulate DZ levels really fast when you first hop in. It'll taper off after a while though and require a bit of a grind.
That's good to know. Unless they do and I missed it they should warn you about the recommended level before you enter the DZ.

A few more levels to go and I'll head back in.

Almost done with the story and exploring. I hit level 30 Sunday morning (jumped from 20 Thursday night to 30 by Sunday morning with really only a day and a half of actual playing time in between), got a lot of purple when I look at my gear and weapons right now.

Just have 3 or 4 encounters/side missions left to do in Midtown East, just 20 collectibles to get (all in Midtown East except for two at the moment inaccessible echos) and just the last mission or two (assuming there's at least one more yet after the UN mission).

After that, I'll be all ready to hit the Dark Zone!
