Got pretty far into a Mission and the rest of my team left me....now I'm stuck.

Man...I was feeling pretty confident with running through side missions/encounters and going through the first few missions on normal first, then replaying on hard right after.

Now I just completed the Joe Ferro mission. It damn near took longer to beat him on normal than some whole missions took on hard. F that guy. I'll be waiting a bit before I venture back for a hard playthrough.

Odd you say that, I found him to be easier on hard than the other bosses. Kosinski was a gigantic PITA that we didn't even beat on hard. We were both level 9 for that though.

My buddy and I, levels 11 and 10, just went to the top floor and kited him around that loop the entire time. Just worked out that way, it was our first encounter with him and we didn't look it up or anything.

For you guys having trouble with Ferro and other Elites, don't forget to use water during the fight. It allows you to do extra damage to them.

Water, along with the other consumables, are used in the same way as grenades only you hold right on the D-pad instead of left.

We were talking about those consumables last night and reminding each other about them. I just got used to chucking grenades and now I've got to work those into the repertoire.

Had my 1st gold weapon drop in the dark zone, the Midas.
Went into instant panic/paranoid until I got it out.

Bumped my dps to 104k and I saw a heavy spring that would make it 126k soon as I hit rank 30.

What's everyone's best method or tips for leveling XP the quickest?

I'm only about 10 hrs in total and level 7 but it seems like I'm spinning my tires lol...loving it though. Doing main missions, a couple of side missions, and encounters along with DZ stuff...just curious what everyone else goes to for building XP.

No tips I can think of, but I just saw you ask this question on Gaf as well. Haha

So people upset they nerfed the Phoenix Credits and said it's going to take for every to get them and good drops. Apparently good drops were dropping too often before the nerf?

I noticed that. Not sure how I feel about it, seems awful low now

Not saying I think it should be easy, they probably dropped too often before but maybe nerfed a little too hard

Well I SAW my first yellow as a mission boss drop, but...didn't get it. At least now I know only one person of a party can pick those up.

Gotta be faster next time.

Edit: Never mind....that was apparently a "quest item".

Hit level 7 today on my work at home day. I've got the Tech and Medical wings open and have just been screwing around with side missions and such.

BK where are you getting clothes. I imagine side missions since the main ones haven't given me much outside of a jacket

I bought the Gold version so I got some there. some have been random drops and a ton of have come from giving food or water to civilians in need.
