So the game mentions that if you keep your weapon holstered near civilians, they won't freak out.

I can't seem to find said command, though as I'm typing this out (and away from the game) I'm starting to think that I know where it is. Can you get it by holding the D-pad to the left to get your weapon options, or whatever? Or am I misremembering that?

They're essentially saying, don't point your weapon at them. As far as I know there is no way to fully holster your weapon.

What statistic is the most important in this game. I am infatuated with the DPS of the weapons, but I'm thinking that this is not the way to go. I hear people talking about critical hit damage and others. So what gives?

Hoos has & likes the AUG SMG as well. Regarding the damage, it's all relative so kinda hard to use as a barometer. Being that most people's firearms ratings are different.

But 78k sounds good for around 2k firearms. I'm around 2.2k and depending on the weapon I'm using I can be a bit below your number to a bit above it. I don't always exclusively use the highest dps rated weapons in my inventory. I have certain weapons I like to use for certain scenarios.

I think my first gold drop was a gear mod as well.

Yeah, I'm still using a superior bolt action marksman rifle (the name escapes me) that's only at 60k DPS, but it hits like a truck and is invaluable in the DZ. I switch between that and a superior ACR depending on the engagement. As far as auto rifles go, that one is by far my favorite.

I've gotta say, this game is still providing me with that "lost time" experience where the hours just melt away. Pretty impressive considering how much time I've already sunk into it. And I haven't even had a chance to group up with you guys yet.

Any of you guys having trouble with party chat tonight? Went to see if some of you guys were playing and got "an error has occurred" when selecting the party screen. I'm definitely online so it's not that I'm not connected.

More of a PS4 system question than about The Division, but I know a lot of us prefer the party chat to in-game.

Finally was able to run in the DZ with a group. Such a better feeling of security having people to watch your back and skills that can help/protect you. Managed to get a Superior level 30 SCAR-L, and get it extracted! Lot less stressful when you are with friends that is for sure.

This game is a real good time, I was skeptical at first but jumped on the bandwagon this weekend with some peer pressure too.

With the help of some real cool dudes today, was able to go from a level 6 to 15 tonight, hope to get higher tomorrow too.

As a hardcore Destiny player for a long time, it's nice to see some welcomed differences between the two titles. Way more customization, actually rewarding loot drops, tons of guns/gear, etc. Really happy I got this game.

Got my first few hours with the game. My thoughts are:

Holy **** this game is awesome.
Holy **** this game is hard
I need to find people to help me, because the CPU owns my *** with positioning. Way too cautious.

The AI can be brutal solo. Especially if you're under geared.

I hit lvl 50 darkzone today after a torturous grind. Right now there's this unspoken gentlemen a agreement in lvl 30 darkzone bracket where no one goes rouge and every just extracts and get along while we all grind to 50.

I imagine when most people get there and buy what they want from vendors, all hell will break loose. Griefing players will become sport. Dying at high level darkzone is soooo brutal. You can lose a whole level in an instant. Nearly 20-30 mins grinding gone instantly.

Good luck out there when the meta changes haha.

I do enjoy how everyone is chill, but the millisecond someone goes rogue, even if accidentally, "sorry bro, we gotta end you". No remorse out there in the dz haha.

Remember what I said about when I wanted to get serious with that build I posted above? This happens.

The fight is over in 4 seconds real time. Long story short (with the long story being that earlier post) - it's a damn close to 100% critical rate with that pulse + signature buff stack. Add 20% elite damage onto that from the water....and you get this.

I even left a bit of extra damage hanging from not using my smart cover and just standing out in the open shooting.

Got a question bros. I'm up to level 6 now but my buddy is getting this today so I planned on starting over no biggie.

Curious how the loot works with coop. Will we each get the same stuff? Or is it a mad scramble to the blue or green beam and only one of us gets anything.

I'm enjoying this game immensely and played it till 2 am yesterday woke up at 6:30 to go to work now I'm half asleep at work lol.


I'm lvl 13 right now and was wondering if there are any critical mistakes that neeed to be avoided. People are talking about specific builds and stuff while I'm just equipping random stuff (if it improves my existing). How do the upgrades work in base of operations, will we have enough credits to upgrade everything?

Also so far, the community of players in the dark zone have been excellent. I would never expect random people with guns not shooting eachother and actually helping them and working almost as a team. I went in there multiple times by my self and found some randoms and ran with them.
