Had a blast playing with Smooth Pancakes last night, never heard the word pancake so many times in one night though, LOL

Up to around Level 7, about to upgrade to Level 8 if anyone wants to join. As other mentioned, playing with real high level guys aren't fun yet, get killed after 1 shot and everyone gets mad. PSN: Myk13

Haha, well, at least we didn't have to take a break for a food run. I've had that effect on people, they hear Pancakes and they end up with a pancake craving after long enough.

Yeah, ghosthawk was a kid I ran into on the beta, I didn't run into too many OS guys to team up with in the beta, so I ran into ghosthawk either in a mission or the dark zone or something, and ended up teaming up with him and a couple other randoms for most of the beta.

If the three of us (you, me and Shando) are all on again tonight, we can either just roll with the three of us or try to find a fourth OS guy to join up, get a solid OS group going.

Also, I gotta say, massive respect for you going through hell with us last night. I never would have set the Joe Ferro mission to Hard if I knew it was going to scale the enemies up to level 20+. Going through that entire mission fighting enemies 10 levels above you, and many of them Veterans (purple bars) or Elites (gold bars) with all those shields, you earned mad respect from me for being willing to stick that out to the end!

While playing missions on hard will get you more experience, I think we'll stick to Normal tonight if we run any more missions, that way the enemy levels will end up split between us, and just give us level 15 or 16 enemies instead of 20-21+, give you a better chance to do some greater damage against them and give you a chance at staying alive against those guys instead of them being able to essentially one shot you.

Trying to figure out the crafting. When should I do it and what should I go for? I have a ton of materials but clueless on it.

I found that It best to craft/buy new gear every 3-5 levels just so your guns don't become a bullet hose.

As a single player gamer, I was going to try to leave this game alone and just read about folks playing exploits here, but the enthusiasm has been too infectious, gonna buy it now.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Just played my first two hours and finished the Brooklyn tutorial. I can tell right now, this game will be tough. The tutorial boss of Brooklyn took a me a while, lol.

Man...I was feeling pretty confident with running through side missions/encounters and going through the first few missions on normal first, then replaying on hard right after.

Now I just completed the Joe Ferro mission. It damn near took longer to beat him on normal than some whole missions took on hard. F that guy. I'll be waiting a bit before I venture back for a hard playthrough.

For you guys having trouble with Ferro and other Elites, don't forget to use water during the fight. It allows you to do extra damage to them.

Water, along with the other consumables, are used in the same way as grenades only you hold right on the D-pad instead of left.

Hold V for PC players, didn't know about consumables other than handing them to civilians until I was 15 hours in.
