Hit level 12 after playing for 8 hours. Mainly doing side mission and encounter. Only completed 4 mission because I easily get side track with all the things there is to do. I say ima do a mission but end up in the other side of the map doing an encounter. Since I'm doing the main mission with random, I decided to roll with the Healing Gun and Smart Cover. I barely use my medkits to heal now, and don't get me started on smart cover. One of the best abilities if you use Marksmen Rifles. Can't wait to test it out with this Blue SRS I just created.

I was watching a streamer today. At 9:45 PM he was DZ level 7 I checked his progress at 11:15 he was DZ level 37. Seems like it's pretty easy to rank up in there. I've been in there for about 20 minutes total I'm lvl 10 may try to grind this weekend.

If you don't touch the DZ until you're really deep into the game, yes, you'll fly up the DZ levels as the enemies will be worth more XP. But you can get good equipment (for your level) from the DZ all throughout the game so it can certainly make the regular game content easier.

Got to level 13 tonight. Unlocked some good weapons and with mods now I am rolling through a lot of side missions.

During the Betas I was hooked on DZ but I haven't even ventured in there yet since release. This game has great depth, and I'm not typically a RPG gamer.

Just ran into a rogue situation. Hoos and I were getting chased by 3 dudes. They weren't full rogue but were baiting us, shooting at us but not going rogue. They just chased us around for awhile and finally we stopped running at an extraction. One guy shoots his sticky bomb (BFB) under us. And detonates it right away. Hoos is dropped and I'm taken down to 1/3 health left. I pop my ultimate heal but the exact moment I do, I'm dropped snd it doesn't register.

Lookimg back on it, hoos and I should have put our stickies right under them but not detonated. When they popped theirs to go rogue, ours would have gone off and dropped them. I would have had my sliver of health left, revived hoos, and we would have pistol whipped those punks into oblivion.
