All I know is that having two guys with the sticky bomb modded to BFB, plus having a wing open in the Security area (I think) that gives you a 40% boost in damage to explosives = TOTAL DEVASTATION when shot back to back or simultaneously!!! Having some decent Tech stats helps of course. That **** will wreck some fools in a heartbeat, right JareBear? Lol

So I'm game for grouping up, running some missions, banking some credits so I can buy some sweet high level, high tier weapons and gear, and keeping my climb toward 30 going. We'll also get you some levels real fast.

Sweet. Works for me. I'll hit you up I saw you online last night.

That thing kicks ***, and it's great for when you're cornered and you're trying to force the AI to keep their distance.

And for me personally, I'm a sucker for the ballistic shield. I love shooting with my pistol and the shield forces you to use the pistol while basically being invincible for awhile.

I haven't unlocked the seeking mine for Tech yet; I just unlocked the temporary cover thing in security but haven't used it.

For those that are deeper into the game, what exactly is the difference between all of the healing abilities? I'm saving up for the last one and I'm specifically interested in what makes the last ability better than the support station.
The skills on the very bottom of the page are "ultimate abilities" You can only use them once every 8-10 minutes or so (depending on your skill power, which lowers the cooldown, and gear bonuses that may lower the cooldown as well). I use the sticky bomb (proximity mine mod), support station station (mod that makes you not lose ammo and also makes skills recharge faster while you are inside of the green radius), and the healing ultimate. It is basically a five second "oh crap" panic button that instantly revives everyone, gives everyone max health, and crazy high healing per second for 5 seconds.

Synergy with skills between teammates is very important for higher level content, and the dark zone is important too. Someone with the heal gun, who has the master mod perk unlocked (that makes the heal gun effect stay in play for 5 second so people can run out of it) can be very helpful when communiating when they use their heal gun so people who need a heal can run to the circle of effect and get their heal. People with the technical ultimate ability, that gives you insane increased damage output for 12 seconds, should probably wait to use that for when a boss shows up and tell their team beforehand so they know to focus their fire on the boss and get the max benefit from the 12 second buff. The recharge time on the ultimates so high you gotta get the most out of them. I try to only pop my heal ultimate when I see someone down and other teammates are low health too. When I have my support station out I need to do a better job communicating when I am going to manually detonate it to get the instant heal/overheal perk out of it for my teammates. Communication is key

Brandwin, I suggest you and your team trying out different combos and just finding what works best for you. On our squad right now I think we have two guys with the technical ultimate (the damage buff), myself with the heal ultimate, and then whatever bolt decides he wants. We have a lot of different abilities as well, I use support station and sticky bomb, we have a pulse, a turret, a smart cover ability, another sticky bomb but with a different mod, etc. Just test things out and see what works best.

That smart cover ability that I mentioned, Candy uses it, and it doesn't sem to get a lot of love on here but is VERY helpful. Awesome ability

            EDIT

Also dont be afraid to change your loadout on the fly. I sometimes switch my sticky bomb to the heal gun depending on how hard what we are doing is, so I run with two heals. I also sometimes switch my support station to the turret so I have two DPS technicalo abilities. It all depends. You arent locked in a specific loadout in this game which is awesome. Sometimes if we are facing a lot of fire or enemies that stun/bleed you I will change my support station to the one that makes you immune to status effects.

My base support station is always gonna be the ammo boost/recharge boost one on top of the heal and self revive it offers. The recharge boost is essential for my sticky bomb approach, I can get a new one very quickly and just keep doing splash DPS on enemy mobs

I haven't tried solo'ing without at least one healing ability on my bar. I would definitely recommend the heal gun until you get the master mod perk that lets you detonate the support station for an instant heal, even then you might be better off with the heal gun solo.

I could see someone surviving solo with a Turret and Shield combo. Pop the shield, Place the turret in the middle of the mob, absorb enemy aggro as the turret does the hard work. I could see someone getting by with two DPS abilities as well and just sticking to medkits and being careful in cover. Depends on what your char is geared for. I am all electronics. I have nothing in firearms, so I need my skills to help either keep me alive or do damage for me.

Yeah I would strongly suggest having some kind of self healing ability.

Those will work, but you have to be extra cautious. Also, you can open certain areas in the Medical wing that will get you up to a max of 5 medkits evetually. But by then you can open up the basic healing gun. Just explore your options.

I thought about trying smart cover + turret or sticky bomb

                          Just FYI

The vendors that sell things for pheonix credits open up in the tech wing behind the recal station and in dark zone area 6(the top one). You also use pheonix credits to reroll gold gear
