I use the sticky bomb (proximity mine mod), support station station (mod that makes you not lose ammo and also makes skills recharge faster while you are inside of the green radius), and the healing ultimate. It is basically a five second "oh crap" panic button that instantly revives everyone, gives everyone max health, and crazy high healing per second for 5 seconds.

Synergy with skills between teammates is very important for higher level content, and the dark zone is important too. Someone with the heal gun, who has the master mod perk unlocked (that makes the heal gun effect stay in play for 5 second so people can run out of it) can be very helpful when communiating when they use their heal gun so people who need a heal can run to the circle of effect and get their heal. People with the technical ultimate ability, that gives you insane increased damage output for 12 seconds, should probably wait to use that for when a boss shows up and tell their team beforehand so they know to focus their fire on the boss and get the max benefit from the 12 second buff. The recharge time on the ultimates so high you gotta get the most out of them. I try to only pop my heal ultimate when I see someone down and other teammates are low health too. When I have my support station out I need to do a better job communicating when I am going to manually detonate it to get the instant heal/overheal perk out of it for my teammates. Communication is key

Brandwin, I suggest you and your team trying out different combos and just finding what works best for you. On our squad right now I think we have two guys with the technical ultimate (the damage buff), myself with the heal ultimate, and then whatever bolt decides he wants. We have a lot of different abilities as well, I use support station and sticky bomb, we have a pulse, a turret, a smart cover ability, another sticky bomb but with a different mod, etc. Just test things out and see what works best.

That smart cover ability that I mentioned, Candy uses it, and it doesn't sem to get a lot of love on here but is VERY helpful. Awesome ability

    EDIT

Also dont be afraid to change your loadout on the fly. I sometimes switch my sticky bomb to the heal gun depending on how hard what we are doing is, so I run with two heals. I also sometimes switch my support station to the turret so I have two DPS technicalo abilities. It all depends. You arent locked in a specific loadout in this game which is awesome. Sometimes if we are facing a lot of fire or enemies that stun/bleed you I will change my support station to the one that makes you immune to status effects.

My base support station is always gonna be the ammo boost/recharge boost one on top of the heal and self revive it offers. The recharge boost is essential for my sticky bomb approach, I can get a new one very quickly and just keep doing splash DPS on enemy mobs
Damn, we're running the same thing. I live and die by my modded sticky bomb, and ever since I unlocked it, the support station is a constant fixture among my abilities, even with the same ammo mod I believe.

Myself and Shando on Xbox One have got a nice compliment. He's got the pulse scan for the enemy highlight bonuses, I tenderize them with my modded sticky bomb, he throws out his turret (not sure if it's modded or not) to keep them back and suppressed and then I use the support station to heal us as needed. It's a combo that had worked very well when we're fighting as a pair.

Even weapons we compliment well. He's got good strong mid range weapons, while I always keep a marksman rifle on me to snipe enemies from a distance and a LMG for suppressing fire.

And the great thing about this game, people can do a completely different load out of abilities and weapons and still just as great, or even better success! This game is like one of those "career" tests I took in school. There's no wrong answer! There's no wrong weapon or ability. What may not work great for one person individually, can work incredible for another. It's all about individual skills, character builds and tastes. That's what I love about RPGs and this game nailed it!

I got my first long range scope last night and put it to use. For whatever reason I'm much better at long range kills than close in firefighting.

Yup a squad with more than one buffed sticky bomb and damage bonuses are a beautiful thing.

Sounds good! I don't know how late I'll be on tonight, got a very early morning for work on Saturday morning, but I'll be on for at least a couple hours for sure, and then I'll around Saturday night and a ton on Sunday.

            That's how I am.

When we're teamed up, Shando handles the close firefights, I suppress and unload as needed with my LMG, and as long as we both have the spacing, time and health, I switch to my marksman rifle with a 15x scope and go for headshots. I haven't found much more enjoyable than dropping an enemy like a wet sack of cement with a single headshot from long distance.

And yet, I can also easily get down and dirty and chew through enemies with my LMG at close to mid range, as has happened many times in missions when we run into a horde.

I was using a 15x scope for awhile on my M1A, definitely made the head kills a pleasure and plentiful. It did get replaced recently though by a higher end Acog scope that gave me some crazy head shot and crit bonuses that could not be ignored. Since making that change I am hitting crit head shots for well over 100k damage points now [emoji49]

Yes sir that is the game plan and works out for us pretty well. We usually move through each mission pretty smooth and normally with minor scratches. So if we had two other players we would be ready for PrimeTime. Good fun so far during launch week. I always turn my XBOX on when I get home with me online shortly there after.

In my humble opinion the M1A is still the best game gun in the game, I will never not have one in my loadoit unless it gets nerfed

I would agree with this on the assumption that you can hit the head. If it's a body shot I don't really see the advantage over any other gun with which you can control recoil (especially one that crits often). It's the same DPS either way.

M1A crit headshots can instantly down in one hit, no argument there.

Haha, yeah, we've had a couple "oh ****" moments where we got overrun or nearly overrun, but for the most part, we do pretty good in missions.

And it looks like we should be able to get a four man squad with relative ease this weekend. Help some of the other Xbox guys get leveled up and get some better gear, and we'll have a party!

As someone who swore by the Scar-H marksman rifle in the betas, I agree! Once I got a good level M1A the other day in the full game, that thing was nasty!

At the moment I have a, I believe M44 marksman rifle, it's essentially a 5 shot bolt rifle, as my M1A at the time was getting outdated and too low leveled to be as useful against increasingly higher level and higher health enemies. The M44 had such a massive increase in damage and headshot damage that I had to make the jump.

But I still prefer the M1A and am going to be looking very hard this weekend for a level 21+ M1A for sale. That gun is just too good!
