    Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)

Equipment matters. I just reached lvl 30 and previously I couldn't beat the helicopter at the end of the general assembly mission. I took it out in about 5 minutes with upgraded gear.

I'm too cheap to buy ps+ so I have a feeling I am quickly reaching the point where the game won't be challenging any more.

The rogue part really annoys the crap out of me. Theyreally need a much larger penalty for going rogue. Maybe while rogue after the first kill have the level diminish while still rogue? Its already bad enough that the person going rogue has an advantage by attacking first, but if its anywhere near a safehouse or checkpoint, they can just hang and wait for u to re-enter. I dont even see whats so fun about being an overpowered rogue in a group of 3?

I was waiting for the second guy to pop an over heal or med pack to use my sticky bomb, they are not very good at PVP to say the least.

When the game first came out I thought the risk/reward for rogue play was somewhat balanced, but a lot of people felt there was too little incentive to go rogue. After everyone geared up and they tweaked the DZ to favor rogue play more it's pretty much become "eh lets just go rogue, no reason not to so why not" for a lot of people in the dark zone.

Getting killed while rogue does do a decent XP loss but most people don't hunt rogues so it usually doesn't matter, and most uber-PVP builds will kill enough people to offset the loss of the happen to die, but people are always talking surviving manhunt status anyway.

People will say "if you don't like pvp, don't go in the dz" but that's unfair IMO because the best blueprints in the game, by far, are only available in the dz

I just wish there was a way for everyone to have fun. Rogues, non rogues, solo DZera, grouped up DZers, I dunno if that's possible to balance for everyone tho

Edit: I feel like a simple tweak would be to make it so getting killed by a rogue doesn't make u lose XP and/or dz funds. Lose your loot, I'm fine with that, but getting ganked by 4-man Kill Bill Assassin Squad while in solo shouldn't set me back money and XP IMO With the high price of good DZ blueprints those dz funds are the most valuable currency in the game arguably.

              Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)

This all started with the glitched incursion. Allowing people to glitch sets of gear and get to 240 started this whole DZ problem. Getting full sets in days vs weeks is a major problem. Fully geared rogue groups have a huge advantage over solo and less geared groups. No denying it.

Second, the gear basically wrecked damage dealt and damage mitigation. Even have 65% armor and 80K+ health can get you melted by above geared rogues. The armor cap needs to be increased and something needs to be done about PVP damage mitigation.

Supers have wrecked PVP to a degree as well. Similarly to being over geared a group of rogues with three running the blue defensive super and one with the green revive super will always have an advantage over solo's and lesser geared groups, because of the ability to coordinate these to survive a rush and revive w/o having to stop shooting.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if they are not going to change the above, then they need to have DZ servers based on party size. Single player server, two player group servers and 3+ player group servers would be an immediate help. Most of the "bully" groups shrink when they run into other groups.

Yeah these are all excellent points. I don't think you could possibly be more spot on.

Your last point kills me that is hasn't happened yet, I see no downside to dividing servers by group size, I honestly can't even try to play devils advocate as I feel it's a logical decision at every level. Right now a huge part of the game is the DZ and current mechanics make it so a lot of people don't feel comforts le going in there so they stop playing. That's a problem. That's not good for the game.

I also couldn't agree more about your third paragraph, about supers. I was talking to bolt about how in the beta we were absolutely dominating rogues, we went on runs where we killed 15 rogues for every one death for any of us. It was just so simple then. No supers and just three basic skills (I guess 4, actually) skills to use/defend against. The shock turret/smg loadout is pvp gold right now.

Reached level 30 today. Quite an accomplishment for me, especially with The Show taking up so much of my time.

What are some good blueprints to buy when you reach lvl 50 in DZ? I'm at 49 with some funds available. Not sure I'll grind all the way to 75 anytime soon so might as well buy some useful item now.

There is nothing worth buying at 50, the price of DZ items & blueprints are so exorbitant that you're best off keeping your money and pushing to 75.

An example are gear mods that raise stats (firearms, stamina, electronics). The lvl 50 blueprint ones have a potential max of 163, the ones at the BoO have a potential max of 143 and are far easier & less expensive to craft.

The lvl 50 ones cost around 250k DZ funds (roughly, I forget). That's ridiculous for an extra 20 points in any potential stat.

I guess if there are GS 204 gold chest & gloves blueprints available at 50 you can buy both of those if those funds are burning a hole in your pocket. You can roll chests till you get reckless or vigorous & gloves till you get savage.

Those two go well with the other 4 gear slots going towards your chosen gear set (sentry, strikers, etc).

Perhaps even a 204 weapon blueprint at DZ 50 as well. But again, you can get those at the BoO and they'd be easier & cheaper to craft (just have to wait week to week for the weapon you'd want to become available).

Thanks for reply! I checked special vendor in BoO and it only sells 182 weapon blueprints It does sell 204 liberator but talents on it kinda suck. Guess I'll just wait till DZ 75 to spend that cash but they will probably have 260GS items by the time i reach it haha.

On another note, I was so annoyed yesterday playing lincoln daily mission and these 3 pros killed the last boss while I was sitting shooting the regular guys and the boss didn't drop anything for me. Didn't know that you don't get rewards if you don't hit the named enemy ((

The BoO sells 204 weapons at the guy upstairs next to the recalibration station.

I think right now he has an LMG and a pistol.
