    Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)

Yeah, I still haven't even gotten back on this game since I got home from South Dakota on Tuesday. From either today or tomorrow, it will have been three weeks since I last got on this game and I really don't even feel that bad about it.

Based on what the game was like and was becoming the last time I was on it, and on what some of you have said in the past two weeks in here, I really have no immediate need to get on since it's almost essentially gotten only worse since the last time I played. Especially with this seemingly hit or miss daily mission crap, which is just inexcusable.

I still like the concept of this game even though it boring as hell with no variety but as others have said, they need to fix most if not all of the issues sooner than later.
Exactly. Don't forget it also costs a significant amount of blues, to get a gold, and significant amount of greens to get a blue. It's a vicious cycle. lol

I can understand making the golds more "expensive" to craft, but the whole system is too... punishing for the lack of a better word.

What really bothers me too, once you hit 30, all the vendors in all of the safe houses become relatively useless. They sell nothing of value, for pretty large amounts of "cash".

At this point my daily cycle for this game, if I get around to it is log on, farm some materials, do the dailies that pay PC's, move onto another game. Once a week after my "cash" has accumulated from dailies, I'll buy some meaningless weapons from regular vendors, then dismantle them for materials too. Even that is comical. I got a gold light machine gun the other day. I'm never going to use it. So, I dismantled it for a whopping one gold weapon part. Yet if I was to try and craft that it would cost me about 5-10 golds or something ridiculous like that.

As we've all said, there's just not enough reward... from anything.

HAHA, not only are vendors in safe houses useless but vendors in dark zone are just as useless if you are below lvl 75. I never bought anything in DZ sitting at lvl 49 now and $300,000. Whats equally as sad is that its not even half of funds required to buy a 204 weapon. At this pace I will have enough funds to buy 1 weapong by the time i hit 75!!!!!! WOW

My daily (more like 2-3 a week) cycle is to:

          log in
go to BoO collect craft material
check for lincoln tunnel daily if yes play it if not ignore the rest.
do the daily assignments if they are easy
try to join dark zone with randoms
Get kicked from group 3-4 times before joining some noobs the 5th try
          Go to dark zone
Leave dark zone 30 minutes later after doing the same old Pit, old town music etc repetition.
Go to BoO to deconstruct any materials that were extracted.
          Log off

And if anyone of my friends send me game invite to any other game than i log off immediately and join their game.

The most fun I had in division the past couple weeks was joined incursion and watched these 2 noobs die every round because "I never played this before and I have 40k health is that why i keep dying?"

I'm at Lvl 20 and still having a blast. I guess the end is near though haha. Sucks they made the grind for good weapons so extensive. Was looking forward to getting some golds. Highest I've seen so far is blue.

You can get 204 lvl gold weapons for phx credits upstairs in the BoO that change every one week, in the DZ if you're DZ lvl 75 and have tons of DZ credits, drops in the incursion on challenge mode (not realistic unless you have an amazing team).

The weapons are attainable (some ways much harder than others).

I have about 8 204 weapons between my two chars.

The game is still amazingly fun to play if you have friends that are playing with you. We had about 6 guys on yesterday at various times throughout in our squad. We were running incursions, running the DZ and got in some crazy fights with other agents. Went manhunt, switched servers later to a calm one and ran the DZ with no rogues around.

The fun is still there, but I do admit many things need to change to make it better, mainly the loot for most people.

I simply don't play as often or as hardcore as I used to.

Thanks. I can't figure out how to spend Phoenix credits or what they are. Is that only for DZ?

Phoenix credits are end game money so you won't see them till then. They are gained by completing daily missions on hard or challenge mode. Oh, and 2 will drop off named enemies in the DZ.

To spend them, there's a special gear vendor upstairs in the tech wing and one in safe house in DZ06.

I didn't realize there was one in the DZ as well. Does the special gear vendor in DZ06 sell the same items as the special gear vendor in the BoO, or do they have a different selection?

My god, it looks like they're trying to save the game! And if true, my faith will at least be partially restored with no more uber-rogues due to them all being shoved into their own even further segregated 200+ only DZ.

More details on the tweaks and changes that will be introduced in The Division 1.2 update have been revealed during today's State of the Game

They've always wanted to save the game, it's the solid bug free implementation of said patches that they've had major problems with.

An addition of a simple 200+ DZ isn't gonna fix anything if people can still twink their way to a lower bracket to grief. If loot table and drops aren't fixed all the other changes aren't gonna make a difference in the end.

Actually it would help. They won't be able to run around with full 240 gear and 200+ weapons going rogue and destroying everyone because they're facing people only 160 or 170.

If they want to get back into the 160-199 bracket, they'll have to put on lower quality gear and weapons on their character and move their 200+ gear and weapons out of their stash and onto their secondary characters.

So they'll have to intentionally significantly weaken themselves, putting them back into line with everyone else in the 160-199 bracket, thus making it much harder for them to grief people since they'll be on a more level playing field.

Regardless, it'll make it so those of us in the 160-199 bracket no longer have to deal with the ****s running around with all 240 gear sets and slaughtering people at will because they are some much higher powered that us in the 170s or 180s stand no chance against them.

It won't help if tweaks aren't made to how GS is calculated. That's exactly what's happening now in the under 160 bracket. It doesn't hurt a 200+ GS players power one bit to send extra gear to an alt and equip a green side arm and secondary to drop GS to 159 to go rape in that bracket. Adding another bracket won't change that problem. It'll just be 240's equipping a sidearm, secondary to go to 199 to rape the lower bracket.

There needs to be incentive to play in the higher bracket, loot tables need to be changed. That's the base of all problems.
