Yup. I've played it every day since the update. Update definitely revived the game in terms of player count.

I played briefly last night after raiding in Destiny and definitely liked what I saw. Just running daily heroic and challenging mission in world tier 4 gave me set pieces. Feels very Diablo-ish, which is a good thing.

In the little time I've played, I now have an actual "build" besides Lone Star, which is all I saw before the patch. I've now got a 4 piece Striker/2 piece Sentry going with an RPK and the LVOA-C for sale at the base. Having a blast with it, and it's definitely something I never would have been able to acquire before the patch.

I have at least once piece of every gear set at this point, but not every one is rolled perfectly. Really gives me the Diablo vibe where you are constantly receiving loot which may or may not be an upgrade, but you can sell said loot for many more chances to acquire the loot you want. The economy is fantastic at this point. I haven't felt stagnated at all.

I've gotten a couple friends back into it, and I'm working on the rest. I can see giving this quite a bit of time this fall/winter.

Noob question. How can selling loot give me many more chances at better loot? Crafting?


I deconstruct everything but I have no decent blueprints. So I might be going about it wrong.

You are doing it right, you just have to work to get more blueprints. I had the same problem earlier on.

Think they are in the Base in the Tech Wing. There is a special vendor that sells them.

That LVOAC is great. Only one meh trait and it can be rerolled into a great gun. The 229 Pahkan is also a good buy.

Just be sure you have plenty of Phoenix Credits(Only currency he takes). There should be a power level on the right side of the screen too. Some blue prints are level 31 for example but you need to be character level 30 to use them. Yes to your question. Pretty sure superior to high end.

IDK, I keep trying to get back into the game and I can't sit for more than 15-20 minutes. Loot actually wasn't a problem for me prior to 1.4 after finding a group to run with around the 2nd/3rd Incursions and the DZ is still bleh as they didn't really address PvP at all in 1.4. Gonna wait on the next DLC and hope it can salvage the game for me.

The patch really isn't about PVP to me. It's about making the PVE world outside of the DZ worth while, which it seems to have done a great job at.

Yeah somebody made a good comparison to Diablo earlier. It feels more like that now. I'm constantly getting new loot that is actually worth looking at. I can play for an hour and actually feel like I did something and that will keep me coming back. Before the patch I was literally just playing to get my supply drop once a month.
