    Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)

So joined up with some randoms and we ran the Lincoln tunnel challenge and it went a lot another than the last 2 times I attempted a challenge.

Was able to build up enough phoenix credits to get the vector and rolled 4 of them. Some had 2 talents I liked but the 3rd was usually a Meh. Got my dps up to 93k. But the yellow drops from the challenges just didn't have the stats I wanted. So might have to try it some more over the next few days. Plus have my dark zone rank at 38 so got to get that up to 50 and start creating some better gear

I was in our regular group last night and me & Jare were talking about this.

Yea you can keep rolling Vectors, but it simply doesn't handle as well as the AUG, MP5, or Midas. All 3 of those SMGs also hold more rounds (and range I believe) than the Vector. I'm talking if you have a gold magazine on all of them. The one thing the Vector is nice at is up close critting enemies. But you aren't YOLO charging enemies in challenges anyways (unless you're named ragebongrip420).

I've rolled at least 15+ Vectors and last night in DZ 06 an AUG dropped for me, good bye Vector. Good weapon but highly overrated. It's a great first purchase for a new player buying their first gold blueprint weapon at the BoO. But my personal recommendation is the Black Market AK instead.

I forgot to add, mats are easy enough to come by, so technically the one great thing about the Vector in the early going is you can craft a **** ton of them till you get the rolls you're looking for.

But if you happen upon any of the three other HE SMGs I mentioned and it has great rolls on it, ditch the Vector heh.

Just my opinion of course, understandable if anyone disagrees.

There are a few other loot farms out there besides that one as well.

It'll be a while before they catch all of them.

Reached lvl 30 on both zones and passed all the missions and not quite sure what is the point of grinding for better items now. I'm not too fond of doing same things over and over again for little benefit.

Any idea what the dlcs will bring to this game?

Enjoy the game because once you hit 30 there is not much to do except grind for items but I see little point in that.

The game actually really only opens up once you hit 30. There's still a ton of upgrading of your character to do as well as of course the DLC which will start coming soon. I just hit level 30 and it reminds me a lot of Diablo, which that game starts at level 70.

If you see little point in it then you have the option to stop playing.

                  I know, novel concept.

You have access to the Internet and other Division specific sites, I'm sure you're capable of finding all the DLC info you desire. If you don't find anything new then chances are we have nothing new to give you as well.

                      Lol.

Some people love the game and they will play it for the best gear and for fun with their buds.

Others do not enjoy it as much and will find limited enjoyment with it after a certain point.

No problem with either view, some will probably fall in the middle, let's keep it civil.

My whole friends list is populated with level 30s that are still playing who don't seem to have a problem enjoying the game at that point.

I want to join their fun. This running solo trying to catch up is not as much fun as it sounds like everyone else is having at 30.

Yeah, for sure. Also, props for the shoutout to our boy Raged who goes through challenge missions as if he is Chuck Norris.

Basically, long story short, my suggestion is everyone try each gun at least once, go to the shooting range or just run a mish or two with each kind of gun. You will find there are things about each gun you can't discern straight from the raw damage number, as far as how they handle and hold up in different types of firefights.

For me, stability is something I value more than damage, for example

I feel so left behind if I miss out on the new farm exploit of the week. That kind of turns me off.

I'm looking forward to the new level increase (whenever that comes) to cleanse the palette and even the playing field.

It's too "haves and have nots" in this game right now for me. Reason I didn't like destiny initially but at least their PvP was level balanced.

Incursions can't get here soon enough.

We were doing Russian Consulate on challenge mode and we were doing it in record time, mowing through it and reached the last two sections (the library, and then the boss area) in under 40 minutes by far. We were trying to set up the plan and strategy for how to handle the two mobs in the library and while I am mid/sentence he literally says "YOLO" runs down and starts throwing seeker mines and sticky bombs with reckless abandon, which in turn basically destroyed the setup for how to handle that section quickly and efficiently.

I literally took my headset off after that and decided I wasn't gonna talk anymore. Yolo.
