The tracker doesn't seem to be totally accurate. Has my hours wrong, I assume at least, unless the game tracks hours incorrectly? Also my rogue kills. I got the trophy for 20 rogue kills over a week ago. Maybe the game credits you for rogues you've downed that get killed, and the site only gives you ones you literally score the kill shot on? Or maybe the game gave me the trophy when it shouldn't have, who knows.

I was #5 in skill kills a week ago, dropped to 9. Guess I am slowing down in my old age.

8 hours of game time, and N51 has 7. I thought I was big time with my 2 hours. That's rookie mode compared to you two.

After about 6 total hours of DZ play I finally gift my first gold to drop. As we downed the boss one of my friends was downed too. I ran right past him to grab it. Once I had it I was shouting, "WE HAVE TO EXTRACT!" for a solid 5 mins.

If I'm playing with a random group, and a yellow item drops on my screen is that just for me or will everyone see it and only one person grabs it?

For some reason I thought I read it's different than other drops where it seems like I get different type drops than people I play with.

Loot is not shared - anything you see on your screen is your own loot to take. Except when a player dies in the Darkzone - they do drop public loot that can be taken by anyone, and only they get to keep it.

There's a mission late in the game where a "yellow" drops from a boss and only one person can pick it up (you'll see it disappear from your screen if they do), but that one in particular is a "quest item" that doesn't actually give you anything. Same for hostage keys in those medical wing supply missions.

Last two days have been pretty funny. I was a a few thousand XP from 57 in the DZ, so I decided to go into DZ01 just farm the subway and extraction zone for a bit. Was going as planned, when I went into the subway and Clayton was the boss, killed him and lo and behold a high end burst fire MP5 dropped. Went to extract hoping that someone would come take it from me....(I have the lvl 31 Navy MP5 I got from hitting 50) No one did so I extracted it (none of my regular crew were on or I would drop it to them.).

Then today I was running the daily hard missions solo and I got a high end Tactical SASG-12K from that boss. Seems like a decent enough shotgun not in love with the perks, but something new to play with I suppose.

Lastly I just want to say how much fun the Custom M44 is with explosive rounds, that combination is just a riot of good times if you can get it.

It really cracks me up seeing videos on youtube proclaiming a gun's awesomeness and in the video he's just fighting a bunch of red bars. You could, at the very least, fight some purples (though even hard missions are a joke with good gear).

You need to make some of those with some of the pistols in the game. Take a greenie or something and just go ham.

Had to share this moment I just had. A group of 4 were in manhunt but hiding on the rooftop spot of West 34th Street right by the entrance. I pop my defensive super climb the stairs, put up a good fight and kill one of them before the other three kill me. Revive I go back a few times and die a bunch not killing any more but dropping them a few time. It goes on like this for 10 minutes the other people that were hunting them get discouraged and leave (keep in mind these guy are above 50 in DZ rank and have some decent gear, nothing special).

So I finally message one of them saying rank means nothing and to come down and 1v1 me. I think my actual message was along the lines of "This is boring tell your girlfirends that are with you I'll 1v1 any of you in the alley rather than you hiding up there like cowards" Get a non-OS safe response about sore genitals. Repeat my request, no response. Finally two more people obviously drawn by their rouge and manhunt markers come around. One pops a defensive super the other a damage and they climb the ladder, I throw my flashbang to buy them a moment then I climb as well, they are finishing off one as I get there and we team shot the last two. Felt so good.

Naturally after we wipped them out I get a message about how they were gonna 1v1 me, but I had to bring friends...LMAO. DZ is much better now that I don't care about rank. I was half way to 58 died at least 8 times now about 75% away from 58.

To the bold, wouldnt of mattered anyway since you cant drop/trade yet unless you mean having someone kill you for it. Even then theres a chance that it be put into your private drop loot instead of public.

That is what I ment and I keep my inventory low, unless a HE I really want (first wave M1A) then I'd go grab all the crap I don't usually keep before I pick it up.

Crafted a vector today with destructive and fierce talent. The third is skilled I think can't remember but I was pretty happy with that. I'm still not sure if it will replace my HE Aug though.

Quick question -

I fully upgraded the Medical Wing and noticed that the sonar skill does this red flash type thing when it's available for use. Any idea on how to stop/turn off this red flash?
