I think I just got lucky, I was sure I was going to die especially in the earlier part there. I think having a couple of lower level guys with me helped as it scaled the enemies down some.

I'm finding it hard to replace my purples with high end, mainly because all my purple's have + damage to elites and none of my high end equipment does. Tough decisions...

It is most definitely a hard decision to replace some purples. I have a few with Armor over 1000, and the other stats are much better as well. Guessing I will never be all yellow in gear, those two pieces are going to be hard to beat!

There's also the fact that it's a lot easier to re-roll an attribute on a purple than it is a yellow, since it only requires the normal currency. Rerolling a yellow's attribute costs Phoenix credits, which means you'd better hope you get one with the right stats for your build.

Are you guys talking about lvl 31 Purples vs 30 golds?

I haven't found many lvl 31 golds that are not better, all-around, than lvl 31 purps

And it seems like it's only a matter of time before the Dark Zone is like that all over. And in my opinion, it's absolutely stupid as hell. If you want to just run around shooting and killing anyone and everyone solely because, as you even put it, "for the sake of being in our way", go play Call of Duty or some ****.

People are trying to turn the Dark Zone into just an endless warzone of indiscriminate killing, in your case as stated, not even caring about loot, just killing for the sole reason of "they happened to be there". The Dark Zone isn't supposed to just be straight PvP Call of Duty style killing, it's PvPvE, with an extension of NPCs and bosses like in the PvE world, with the additional option of PvE for those who "are willing" to go rogue.

But of course, because the trolls who want to do nothing but constantly go rogue and grief other players whined about the penalties for going rogue, going rogue now gets you better XP and credits for surviving rogue/manhunt status, while dying as a rogue has been lowered to negligible levels, so now it's all reward and essentially little to no risk to go rogue anymore. Everyone may as well just go rogue for the **** of it now like we all did in the beta!

I have not liked my limited experiences in the Dark Zone to begin with and things like this will keep me away from it entirely, severely limiting end game content for me. No bueno.

pvp is player vs player
npc is computer right?

The sprint to 30 was fun, but the grinding is going to be tough. I'm not much of a grinder.

PvE is an MMO term meaning "Player vs Environment". Environment meaning the NPC's (yes, AI-controlled enemies) that populate the game world.

Yea it's a rare thing but it can happen I'm sure. I only have two 31 purple slots that are both with double mod slots each as well. Gonna tough replacing them.
