Actually, I don't think this is the final game for Kickstarters. It's basically a demo for them to show to investors, so that they can get more money and create a full game based on this 'proof of concept'. They built the demo using Unreal Engine 3, but they plan on using Unreal Engine 4 if they can get investors to buy in.
Kickstarters will get the full game when it's done.

I was expecting a more refined tactical socom experience. When I compare this to another small indie game such as INSURGENCY, I see a poorly designed combat title. The white "laser" texture is terrible, such its just cosmetic, but who the hell thought that was a good idea. Then the speed of the movement combined with the "dance of death" associated with most socom games I would of assumed would of been toned down to a more realistic level. Confrontation did not even feature this kind of "circle of shooting". I was hoping for a more tactical direction but sadly that does not look like the case, so I will bow out and just play my other good combat games like Insurgency.Comment

I just don't like how the movement of the character looks spinning and sliding all over the place. I want the socom feel but you still need to evolve and make it look somewhat realistic. Here's a collection of vid's at SOF's site. Listened to one of their interview vids. The main thing they want to let people know is that the proof of concept vid was focused on functionality. So animations and the way the character looks had to be dialed back otherwise the concept demo would have been a broken mess. They only had so much money to work with so put it into certain areas.
