yeah but there is not that much of a difference between the graphics that come out for both consoles, besides it is cheaper because you don't have to pay per month for online, plus he already has a ps2 so all those games would be put to waste. Plus he can than use those games for ps3 which will blow xbox 2 out of the water.

This post will not turn into a crap fest of consoles which aren't even available yet. If you want to talk about the ps3 or xbox II or NES V then go write a blog and have people come read your wonderful dissertation.

Stay on topic or the thread will be locked. The original question was if the xbox had better graphics capability than the ps2. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some will tell you the xbox does have beeter graphics, and i agree with this. others will say the difference is negligible. Graphics play a role, but that shouldnt be the only stat you look at when deciding which console to get.

Best way to pick a console is to see what games it has, what games will be out for it in the future, and how you feel about online.

the reason why i am suggesting ps2 is because he already has games for that system, plus graphics are not that much different for many ea games. Also all my assumptions that ps3 is better is from news i heard. Its not like anyone here has never made an assumption before based on the news they get.
