Is the whole state of San Andreas open when the 16 players join or do they have certain areas closed?

Do they have some sort of Sniper like game?

I certainly hope not. haha. I know many people love to snipe, but the games I usually play with snipers, people do it just for K/D.

I haven't gotten a chance to play online yet, so I'm not sure if R* keeps up with stuff like K/D. I just get annoyed with snipers.

Walked out of ammunation into an ambush, three kids speaking french were waiting for me. I saw them on the radar, but assumed they wanted to shop. Anyways, I want payback but its 3 vs 1 and I am about to sign off. So I call up Lester and put bounties on them. I watch as the rest of the people in the session go after and hammer these kids. Good enough for me.

Been rolling with a small group from the Madden/NCAA leagues I've been in. It's awesome to have 3-4 guys you know well in a room with you. We've done a ton of missions, as well as just caused some chaos getting into free-roam matches with other random people.

I really need to get an apartment though, so we can start getting some heist missions

This after two mission fails and they quit out at the start of the third one (I'm guessing maybe they were out of ammo, I sure was after taking on the entire Vagos gang 3 times).

And something awesome happened as I was coming back to freemode - some guy thinks I'm AFK in my car and starts shooting me with a pistol. I notice it, hop out and blow him away with one shotgun blast.

I read an interview and they said it is supposed to be in, I am just not sure when they will add it. There is also some type of capture the flag mode they are also supposed to be adding. Of course it will have some sort of GTA spin to it though.

Rockstar still doesn't have everything together. I just went to go hop online and there was nothing there. This is pretty frustrating since I had over 150K in the bank this is pretty infuriating. I played all day yesterday with little issue, until late at night. When my garage was emptied and I didn't have a personal vehicle anymore.

I'm waiting for the patch, hopefully it comes out later on this afternoon and things become more stable.

Hoping to catch up with you OS'ers tonight (if everything is more stable)...I was able to finish the race and the drug mission (finally...lol)

But then got caught in the continuous loading after that,so hopefully this doesn't keep happening.

I'm in and online now as well. Just doing the first few missions till I get an invite or something. Pretty fun.

Should I go buy some better weapons? Will I keep them if I die?
