Go to Account Management, press Triangle, and sign out. At least that way it will back you out instead of having to quit the game outright.

That's what I had too, though. Can't launch the session fully.

Played a lot today and had some fun times running missions, robbing stores, and just messing up stuff in general. Towards the end though I had some issues. I was doing a bunch of missions with two of my friends and when we went back to free roam my garage was empty. Now I had a really nice starter car that didn't cost me anything but it was really nice. My other car was my baby. It was a Karin Futo, not the nicest looking car but I love how it drives. People get in and they don't expect it to be as quick as it is. I spent some big money on it and now its gone

I wanted another one so I was driving around was about 10 feet away from getting one and it vanished. I love this game but they need to figure out all of the connection issues!!

Seventy minutes of "launching session." Guess it's just not in the cards for me yet.

sat at the launch menu for about 15 minutes for the first race. going to try again and if i cant get going ill just wait til the patch comes out

You can also steal cars and sell them to a LS Customs Shop.. you can only sell 1 per GTA Day, but I got upwards of $9K for one of the Escalade-looking SUVs.

They wouldn't take a nice sports car

Seriously, this is still not working? Yikes.

Sitting at "Launching Session" for about 10 minutes now. No way to get out of it besides disconnecting from XBL.

Thought after a couple days I'd at least be able to play online. Guess not.

Good news: Got into freemode online on the first try tonight (I think that's a first)

Bad News: Couldn't start the Cypress Flats LTS by walking into the circle. Going to try it from the pause menu and see if that works any better.

Edit: It did. Several OS4L guys in on this too, it looks like.

Edit 2: LOL Bmore!! Ohhh, just wait until I can put bounties out again.

So I came back upstairs after being downstairs for 2 1/2 hours, and was just going to say that this was going to say "Launching Session" still. When I came back up, I saw my online character on the map and there was a message telling me that I had 10 minutes before I would be booted for being idle. So I guess I'm online. I never raced, but that doesn't mean my character didn't do the race when I was downstairs.

Just doing some things right now completing tutorials, but I have to go to bed in about ten minutes.

Oh, and there's seriously no traffic on the streets. I know I can't expect too much here or there with that, but seriously one or two cars seen in the last minute. It's kind of creepy, and it really makes the whole map feel "small."

I noticed you were speccing that mission me and Rob during that last mission. I tried to invite you to the next event (a race) but it didn't let me. I'll keep trying, so just watch for invites.
