Has there been any information about how the game tracks your data? Like if you can store what kind of resources are on what planets that you find.

I'm trying to figure out if I'm going to keep a notebook of info, or if the game will do it for me.

I know there is a log of everything you discovered, I think it is the same place you go to when you want to rename stuff. I haven't gotten a good enough look at it in the stream to see if it tracks specific details of each planet though. I would think it does?

Yeah, I would think so, too. I might start out with a notebook until it's obvious that the game tracks it how I want it

Nah man, you gotta do it Family Guy style like Peter:

Mr. Weed, I can't come to work today because I was in a terrible plane crash. My family is dead and I am a vegetable.

                  ... See you tomorrow.

Then if they catch you playing hooky, you say:

Remember that plane crash I had? It turned out to be gas.

They are wiping servers again tonight, just a FYI.

People on NeoGAF are raving about the new patch, and all the improvements it has made.
I'll head over there and try to find those threads, I've been looking for post-patch impression threads on Reddit and seems like I can only find one or two.

A guy over there did write a very positive take on it so far but did mention his game has crashed 4x in 5 hours. I wonder if the early guys would be better off just doing a clean install at this point.
