    Re: No Man's Sky

Is it worth following any of the stories?

I've had this game for a couple years and I think I've done maybe 10 main missions (if that). All I do is travel from galaxy to galaxy discovering planets lol.

Worth as in there is payoff that will stick in your head for little while? Nope. You want to at least get to the Anomaly though.

Going to give this a try. I don't play non-sports games, except for Minecraft, which I've played almost constantly since way back when pistons came to bedrock version.

Couldn't tell you why exactly I love that game and don't care for other non-sports games but it's at least partially that I can play at my own pace and it's not difficult.

So maybe No Man's Sky fits that. No clue what to do, so guess I'll go search for YouTube tutorials or something.

No Man’s Sky now supports cross-play and cross-save between a huge number of platforms including PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Series X/S, Game Pass, GOG, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, PlayStation VR and PlayStation VR2, and PC VR.

Being able to jump seamlessly between platforms is really transformative. Worlds Part II Patch Notes

Absolutely amazing. All they stuff they've done over the past 8+ years and they haven't charged us a dime.

Was trying to fina a purple star but couldn't, might have to do the new mission first but it will trigger after using the pulse drive for a few seconds.

Currently some major video bugs that need to be fixed though. When scanning certain fauna with analysis visor there is a bizarre effect that kind of looks like swirling winds then the image is an oversized box of brown pixels. Then this happened when I got into my Nomad and forced me to quit the game.

The multi-tool and ship reward from the current expedition are pretty awesome. The ship has a lot of "flavor" descriptions for its technology considering how it's "constructed":

                      Spoiler

And the multitool is of a shape and build that I've never really seen anything similar in the game. Very, very unique.
