    Re: No Man's Sky

I can't tell if I'm being trolled or not.

Daniel, are you unaware of the stealth delay (or at least what appears to be) of the PC version in North America? There is rampant discussion about it on many forums I am sure you frequent.

NA steam still says Aug 9th which adds to the confusion since the NMS official website was changed reflect the Aug 12 date, what, like a week ago?

Thank you for pointing out when August 12 is. I love being patronized.

In case you were unaware, here are the first two articles that popped up about it on Google

A recent change to the game's about page reveals that No Man's Sky on PC has been unexpectedly pushed back from its August 9th release date to August 12th.

I just hope I didn't over hype myself. I think I would be crushed if I didn't like it. Just a thought.

          Re: No Man's Sky

I was kinda bored by the end of the 26 minute video, but mostly because I wanted to see him finish repairs and liftoff, not play with the wildlife.

The ground game exceeded my expectations, hoping the space stuff does too.

This. I mean as long as the guy bought a copy and did not steal it. Also, its the user choice if they want to watch the videos to spoil it.

I love the people who complain after watching a leaked video even though they knew it was going to spoil it for them. Hey idiots, don't watch it then.

              Re: No Man's Sky

Finally got around to watching the video. Good lord, I'm ten times more excited now. There was nothing particularly earth shattering, but now we more or less know what we'll be doing, and it looks to be the kind of crafting/mining/grinding that I will thoroughly enjoy. The crafting looks fantastic in the game in its simplicity.

Best part is, my online classes are in blocks of eight weeks per class with a one week break in between, and it just so happens that week 8 of my current economics course ends the Sunday before this game comes out. Gonna be nice to have that first week to devote as much time as I can between typical parenting/housework duties.

EDIT: Looks like the guy is done posting videos, but will be posting one screenshot per day. I already looked, and I'll post it here, but this is one that could probably be considered spoilery. So, if you're going dark on information that is more than just crafting/exploration, I'd stay away. I'll post it in spoilers below.

LOL....Couldn't resist no longer. I'll admit it, I'm weak. Apparently some have taken the original clips and put them up on Youtube. Just wanted a little taste of what the game is all about due to all the limited information that was released. Needless to say, I'm also now more excited for it.

Jare showed me the thread and that first pic last night on groupme. I think he considered posting that pic last night but thought it was too "spoilery" based on what it says in the bottom right corner.

If no one wants what I think could be a much more significant spoiler than anything revealed in the leaked videos (which weren't really spoiler material at all in my mind) then do yourself a huge favor and do not click on the spoiler tag of the image. It may truly spoil something that hasn't been referenced before.

Just a friendly heads up because I know many of you looking forward to this game want to go in fresh knowing nothing potentially major and wanna discover certain things on your own.

Well, I have absolutely zero idea what the stuff in that image even means.

The fact that image even exists, and what that image shows, has me more excited for this game then the 30 minute video posted yesterday.

I never even considered I could see something like that. And there's a good chance I may never see it when I play. Amazing.

And, honestly, that excites me more than anything else seen from that guy, everything else I expected, but the way the game was (excessively) described I didn't expect that sort of thing right out of the gate.

                          2. We already knew this but the game won't be for everybody and the second part of this statement I will keep to myself. Somewhat of a spoiler

When the game comes out how are you guys planning on playing it? Are you going to stick to the main objective of just getting to the center, and try to do that as fast as possible, or just take your time and try to see everything you possibly can?

I have followed all the buyers posts on Reddit. Definitely some interesting insight
